Keep Mata fresh for games where we will need his attacking ability. Kalou to track back. Mata is too good a player for us to waste his energy by getting him to do nothing but run around.

Fresh? this is the biggest game of the year! What are we keeping him "fresh" for QPR? Mata will play, when we have so little possession we will need to use it well and to be honest with you I don't see Bosingwa or Kalou being able to use the ball better than he. All we need is one incisive break and Mata to me is the guy to deliver that ball...

To the pitch size debate:

I really don't get all those saying that Camp nou's bigger pitch will make a big difference. Their pitch is 1.49% wider and 1.94% taller than that at SB. That's not even noticeable with the naked eye!

It will make a difference to a team that knows how to utilize the size of it(Like Barca) and can play inch perfect passes(like Barca) this is a game of inches and space is paramount for teams that play like Barca.

The thing the annoys me so much about this is that United played Barca twice in two finals and lost both times. To beat Barca you need to play the way we did otherwise it will not happen because they are so strong on the ball. There is no point attacking them otherwise they will punish you on the counter. Just look at how Madrid beat them on the weekend, by playing counter attack but no one questioned there tactics.

At least Alan Shearer thinks differently about RDM's tactics:

Excellent article, The thing that I can't understand is, If Barca go out and all out attack, and we went all out attack aswell, Barca would hammer us. If we can't defend, we're aswell to wave the white flag. We play to our strengths, pick our opportunitys, and stay organised.

What the hell is wrong with that? Its Barcelona who come into these massive games with no Plan B!

UEFAlona morale will be at a all time low after two losses, they will also be tired after an intense Classico.

They could easily regroup and comeback. they are such a good team that any blip in form will only make them come back stronger. hopefully they comeback after the chelsea game

At the UEFA says it will match the criteria young Turkish judge Cuneyt Çakır, who previously worked for UNICEF, so a fair trial for Chelsea will not.

Uhoh. I've never heard of Cakir. I don't think many heard of Ovrebo before he refereed that match either...

To be fair, I would have probably given that penalty. It wasn't deliberate but the hand definitely stopped the cross.
