How bad was Niko Kovac by the way? Hansi Flick took over only in November and has led them to the treble in less than a year.

yes, and Kovac blew the DFL-Supercup, or they would have won every trophy they played for

but they are still on track to win a linear (and possibly same year) sextuple, as they should crush Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup and win the last easy FIFA World Club Championship (2 years from now is goes to 24 teams, us included)

Hansi Flick is just loved by the players. He gives those Jupp Heynckes vibes because he is just a loveable guy. I think that Bayern players like those type of coaches more than the more strict coaches.

True, but the turnaround is still kinda crazy. Bayern looked a mess under Kovac and they even got thrashed 5-1 by Eintracht Frankfurt fgs! Look 100x better in all aspects under Flick. And came across this.

when German managers are good man managers, they are world class

Klopp is the same, and Nagelsmann is well on his way

the players will run into machine gun fire for them

Boateng said that he wanted to leave Bayern because of Kovac and when Hansi came in, he said that he will give everything for him because he likes him so much....

What Hansi does is he makes it very simple. 4-2-3-1 and everyone plays in their best position. And when Lyon nor PSG do not punish them, they will easily win those matches. Many leaders in their team also helps Hansi massivly because they can figure problems out on their own.

deffo for once though, we can say the two best teams did play in the final

there is no way I am going to slate off PSG this season and say the dippers or Shiity were better overall, as they both got hammered when they faced euro tests

Mbappe and Neymar had shockers in this final

I cut Mbappe a lot of slack, as he was clearly not even close to being fully fit

but Neymar, just wow

smdh

that was a top ten worst CL final performance by a top ten player on the planet

in fact I would say top 5 or even top 3 worst performance

As usual. Opponents have all the chances but Bayern score the goals. Yawn. Psg offense had a shitterbut still created 3 or more 💯 % chances. Without neuer they would have won it. Sad day to be alive

only one PSG player had a poor defensive game

Kehrer

and that was all it took

all the rest were actually quite good

Thiago Silva was massive, and their MF was not bad in defence, (passing, well eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek)

Should be applied to every manager really, never mind the Germans. Man management, having that bond with the players are just as important as the other aspects.

True psg Defence was class. Even kehrer just had a meh  game not even a shocker. Apart frontet goal bayern had just one chance. Bayern are just so clinical it’s madness. If we had neuer and they had Kepa we would have thrashed them at the bridge

In the very biggest European matches PSG are just chokers. Just like Man City.

Because they fail to create a team rather than a group of people.

The only reason city was getting away with league titles was their insane depth and no competition. Once Liverpool got better, they were no match. Now with Chelsea and United rising, it will be only harder for City.

it is a rare thing, unfortunately

many managers are loved by the players but NOT respected

you have to maintain some distance or you become just a big brother or the leader of a gang of kids
