robsblubot 3,595
It will be a single game though, so literally anything can happen: early red card, or fluke goal, anything. We all know who are the fav, but I still have hope. 🙂 This has been absolutely terrible by Modric -- maybe he's finally over at this level? Many errors under no pressure. Vini Jr is in Walker's pocket. And yeah Camavinga has to play in midfield -- way to good to play elsewhere. Courtois is a monster of a goalie. 😢 Edited May 17, 2023 by robsblubot

Vesper 30,169
4 nil by far the best team on the planet last time there was a gap like this was that superb Bayern side in 2019/

milka 3,393
Neither of Inter or Man U look capable of stopping this, but Guardiola may again to decide to be a genius and to go even without a goalkeeper in these finals .
Blue Armour 4,439
Really hating this season. The only thing we've had over City until now, is our success in Europe. Now they're in with a chance of sealing that, AND with a treble. It's criminal that we've allowed them to overtake us on nearly every front despite nearly a decade of dominance before they even came within a sniff. All thanks to Pep too. We've never had the fortune of a consistently good coach. Roman was all the fortune we had. At least we hold 2 CL trophies. But how long before they get their 2nd? That's why they've amassed so many league cup wins over the past few years, with favorable fixture lists. Now they got the best possible draw in the CL. The only time in recent history where they got upset, was against Wigan in the FA Cup I think? Not even sure if Pep was in charge then
Blue Armour 4,439
Even if they win - it will never top even one of CL wins. (beating Bayern and Barca at home, or favorites City in the final) or even our unsuccessful CL campaigns (ghost goal Liverpool or CL heartbreak against Barca) Plus we've won the CL with two different generations. Our legendary generation of Drogba, Lampard, Terry. and the young one with Kai, Mount and James... They couldn't do that with Aguero or Kompany. That Bayern side was not even that good. They just had a huge fitness edge over the rest bc Bundesliga started earlier after the lockdown. this city team is the best club team in world football since Barca 11 minutes ago, Blue Armour said: Really hating this season. City are a way better run club. As good a roman was the sheiks have achieved more in terms of building a club structure and long term vision. They hired the right ppl to run the club for them from the beginning instead of chopping and changing executives while rolling with talented impro amateurs like Marina. Magic Lamps 11,692
And don’t even think of hanging on to the faintest of hopes regarding inter. This is the largest gulf in class in a CL final ever. Pep may or may not overthink and make a stupid selection. But even with the wildest tinkering ever he will still end up with a way superior team than whatever Inter has to offer. I am not even gonna go into how shit inter are. But Pep could play Bernardo in goal and stones (not even the player , just actual rocks) on the wing and still see them off. Either Pep gets it right and they will just annihilate them or he gets it completely wrong and they will still edge it in some tense, awkward manner . Unfortunately, the club did not find a person to build something for more than a one season, except for 2, 3 major titles in the last 10 years which were more episodic success than periodic, everything else is for one maximum season and almost every season for us is in transition. The last time where the club had a real structure and success for more than a year and it looked like a machine was under Mourinho (first spell ). Ancelotti , Conte was hire and fire . Pizy 18,902
So uh….whatever happened with the whole City breaching over 100 financial laws stuff? Has everyone just forgotten about all that? Special Juan 28,141
Said to my lad about an hour before kick off this a no contest, knew City would rail road them- Madrid are alright playing the likes of us playing their fancy outside of the foot passes and and all their glitz and glamour but you won't get away with that shit against a complete Mercedes of a side like City, they don't give a fuck and just pummel you. Expect the same in the final, Inter will be fucking shitting themselves
Pizy 18,902
Yeah, Madrid are one of the best sides in the world at keeping the ball, popping it around effortlessly from back to front, and carving through teams with clever passing patterns. They did it to us over and over again. And yet City made them look like a traditional midtable PL side. They’re so much better than everyone else in Europe when in form it’s a joke. Inter’s only chance is to park a bus so massive that it frustrates the hell out of City and then snatch a fluke goal somehow. But I think City will win by some silly margin, sadly.
