Something like this?

Cech

Ivanovic - Luiz - JT - Cole

Essien

Ramires - Mata- Lampard

Drogba- Sturridge/Torres

Yeah something exactly like that.

i'd like Rambo there because he'd be able to help out with the pace of Cavani and Lavezzi, he's also a threat driving forward.

Maybe, but he'd also give the ball away in very dangerous positions.

Dangerman Marek Hamsik has promised that his Napoli side will go on the attack to avoid making the same mistake as AC Milan.

I think if El Nino comes in around the 75th or 80th minute, it might provide a reward. He knows that he needs to produce & this would be a big stage for him, so he could secure a place on Espana's National team in the Euros. Hopefully CFC is not counting on him at that moment.

Chelsea to win this comfortably 3-0!

I believe in victory, and I believe in Roberto Di Matteo..

CAREFREE!

I wish I was as optimistic as you. We struggled against a 10 man stoke side, I doubt we will win by 2 goals to none. Just watched the Arsenal match and saw how they fought till the last minute and won. Remember when chelsea was like that?

Remember when we didn't have a ramshackle squad of 3rd choice transfer targets?

I do too.

Still think we got a lot of quality but even more character in the locker room. We need to lean on that experience and character, gut out this result, and get it done. I think we will. Definitely doesn't hurt to be optimistic.

Yes I can!

Chelsea 4-2 Barcelona - 2004-2005 Season

I know this Chelsea side has what it takes.... the players know that they are still in the competition, and they won't want to go down lightly.... I don't care if we have barely a chance... 2-0 at home is do-able!

Even if we don't get through, the players would have given their all

But Stoke just parked the bus, sat with 8 mean in their third.

Napolis gonna attack the shit out of us.

Hopefully the Chelsea squad watched the game too, you never know what attitude they'll have. They will either have, fuck it we can't win it attitude, or fuck yeah we can win it attitude. Hoping for a latter

What is giving me hope is the pressure Napoli will be under and that they will be without their crowd. We score 1 and their players will begin to fear a bit. We score another one and the fear will grow just as our confidence....that's all of course if they don't hit us on a counter and regain confidence of their own.

I'm looking forward to the match, if we go out, I will cheer for Napoli for the rest of CL :)

Yeah, their fans have unknowingly convinced me to support Napoli :D

My money would definitely be on Napoli.

However, if we play with actual width, I'll be more confident. The players should be up for the game and it's very important Di Matteo get's his tactics right. We saw the problems Napoli caused us on the counter in the first leg, we must stop them doing that.

We must be sensible when we attack and for this game more than ever it's important Mata and Sturridge give us width on the wings. Ivanovic and Cole bombing forward like they have been doing all season, is just going to give us problems, it will leave gaps for Napoli to counter, so Sturridge and Mata need to act as actual wingers. We can't be reliant on the full backs to give us width. We need an actual defensive midfielder on the pitch or someone who can play that role, we lacked one in the first leg which ultimately helped Napoli. Essien must play that role and I think he will, he's got a massive job to play on Wednesday. Meireles should be nowhere near the team.

Cech

Ivanovic Cahill Terry Cole

Essien

Ramires Lampard

Sturridge Drogba Mata

COYB.

I don't think Napoli will attack us w/ a two goal lead. I really believe they will play Catenaccio & look for opportunities to counter. This is what Italian sides are known to do. Still Napoli's counter will be effective & will cause The Blues troubles.

They will attack us to make sure they seal the win. Don't think they will make the same mistake AC did against Arsenal.

But yeah, their counter is deadly!

Anticipating a very good game. Di Matteo's tactics need to be spot on and every player on that pitch needs to give the performance of the season if we're going to have any chance.

Scoring two I don't think will be a problem, we all saw Napoli's shaky defense in the first leg. But, we all remember Chelsea's defense that night as well, so I think shutting them out will be a big ask. Realistically, we need four goals to progress. Two right now, yes. But, it will be such a nervy atmosphere if with 5 minutes to go and it's 3-1 to Chels, knowing a Napoli goal would effectively send us out.

Cech

Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Cole

Essien - Lampard

Sturridge - Mata - Kalou

Drogba

That's who'd I'd play. Lampard can still do a good job in the center of the park, allowing Mata his free-role. I'm far from being a fan of Kalou, but I feel that he could be a danger. He's pacey and has a few tricks in him, could come in handy. I pray that a clever-minded Sturridge turns up. Not the selfish "Let's take one touch too many then shoot as there now isn't any space" Sturridge that we've seen recently.

But I am confident that the team there can progress into the Quarters.

"Flying high up in the sky,

We'll keep the blue flag flying high,

From Stamford Bridge to Wembley,

We'll keep the blue flag flying high."
