But if you really want to replace one of the 3 AM's, KDB would've been last choice for me as he's the only one who really needed the 90 minutes. Maybe Mata also more than Willian. So, could've replaced Willian.

I think that's where some of the confusion comes in. Mourinho makes decisions to benefit Chelsea, not De Bruyne or Belgium. If Mourinho thinks that the way De Bruyne puts out the cones in the morning is worth an extra point to us over the course of the season then I'd quite happily support his decision to keep him and not play him.

Personally I think he'll eventually get a chance and become a good player for us, but there's no rush at this point in time when we're winning games and doing well.

I once said I dislike David Luiz as a player, but to my knowledge that's the only time I spoke bad about another Chelsea player. If not, please show my quotes where I "stabbed other players in the back". Pathetic, really.

I also stated that the fact that being happy with Chelsea's performances doesn't necessarily exclude being unhappy with how a particular player is treated, or with a particular situation. Great results don't make up for everything, just like bad results don't mean everything's bad. Anyone who know the least bit about football, knows that much.

Thing is we have a couple of more phenomenal players in his positions. And to be honest he seems to me like the less talented one (with Schurrle, but Schurrle is a different player from the rest so he gets to play).

To say that Kevin is the least talented one, however, is just silly. Quite obvious that your opinion is solely based on the few minutes you've seen him play for Chelsea.

Okay, doesn't matter. They're all great, not much point in argueing who's better or has more potential. Just reading KDB and "least talented" in one sentence is very strange.

Just read an interview with KDB in "Het Nieuwsblad" (Belgian newspaper). Some quotes:

"The coach told me I played well but that he subbed me for tactical reasons."

"I don't think I played bad. The whole team was good and we deserved the victory."

When asked about his future: "I'm not worried. I just have to keep quiet. I work real hard during training and feel sharper than ever. Mourinho also told me that I've been training really well for a couple of weeks now. But there's 25 of us who want to play."

Bottom line, KDB still not worried, nor thinking about leaving Chelsea. Just keeping calm, working, and hoping for a chance.

De Bruyne has played 4 games this season and has one good half against Hull. (Pre-season is worthless) He's been the worst player on the pitch in pretty much every other performance. It's hard to build momentum when you don't play regularly, but at this level, you have to learn how to make an impact and build your playing time. You can't come on and be useless every game and move up the depth chart. You don't rate Schurrle, but he's been better than De Bruyne in every aspect of the game. His passing is better, his workrate is better, his impact is greater, his defensive work is vastly better, his positioning is better, he fits Mourinho's system better. Who is De Bruyne supposed to start ahead of? He's #6 on our depth chart and that's where he deserves to be until he can play his way out of it. I like his potential, but his obsessed fans drive me crazy with how much they act like he should be handed opportunities just because, opportunities he hasn't earned.

I'd say he probably is right now the least talented one but thats not a bad thing given that players like Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle and Willian are in the squad. I used to think De Bruyne was better than Schurrle but looking at the situation and how Schurrle has done he edges it for me.

You go on about how we base him on the few minutes he's played for Chelsea, ultimately that is what we are judging the players on, how well they do for Chelsea.

No, he hasn't been awful. He's been fairly average and that isn't good enough for Jose to warrant a string of starts.
