That is strange, your last premisse completely condradicts your own point. You are lying when you say he is fantastic or else your argument about him being in a losing team - a team that keeps on winning after him gone- is so logically flawed.

I have no problem in saying Oscar for example does something for the team. He gives us balance, yes.

But I also have no problem in saying we missed out on a very, very good player. Shame to say: a bit better man management could have done the trick. Before you go all off: this is my job. It is simply bad talent management. Well, some say stop it! But he was ours once, a great talent under the pressure of a WC selection. One that had a great season start, then got benched after a motm appearance, then weeks not even on the sheets. We had much lesser players get more chances. Is he a difficult guy? Mou really didnt say that. Is he a talent? Mou said yes.

He wanted to play because of the WC and he got the stands treatment. He then got a shot and blew it. Hell, Cuadrado got more shots.

There must be a reason why that guy killed man city and looked a different player, same as Salah (you saw his goal today?) or even Cuadrado (he kinda killed man city). Mou simply isn't good on (long term) motivational psychology - he can get them 25-29 year olds fired up, ow yes! But younger ones that need mire nuanced care? Hey, Ferhie did that, you know! If you want academic references, just ask. Start with self determination theory, one of the major paradigms right now. Its a bit better than the pavlovian - do good reward, do bad punish- bullshit from the sixties.

I do not think KDB was ever competition for Oscar - as you seem to imply since you began posting. But a lot of people here thought so. So, having your name must scream confirmation bias a bit no?

Secondly: this forum was filled with 'Hazard is a overpriced, overrated diva' as well. Look how that went?

We all love to go coalitional, don't we? All in the trenches for our players. But we forget it is the team that matters! Im still with KDB, but im belgian, i admit. The guy is even from my hometown and ive seen him play so many times.

I will get back to you on the KDB - Oscar thing. Not as a Chelsea fan, but as a belgian and hometownie, also you wear the Oscar name and go through great lengths to prove him right.

The proof of the pudding will be in the eating, my friend.

come on man, better man management?

We had mata, oscar, hazard, willian, KDB, schurrle and salah and later on cuadrado. They couldn't all stay here and KDB did the right thing to leave Chelsea.

However, going to City was a mistake for both KDB and City football wise and financially (except for KDB since he got a huge wage increase). I always vouched for KDB to go to a team where his talent would be highlighted just like wolfsburg.... City have a better playmaker in Silva, whose absence has been felt by City. They have 2 hard working wingers in sterling and navas and a backup in nasri.

Ideally, City would of bought the replacement to yaya toure and fullbacks, but instead they bought another AM.

KDB is a good player, but wasn't needed here and at City. It reminded me exactly of what arsenal does. Buying talent in positions they don't need.

Reminds me of dumb England fans that thought Gerrard and Lampard pairing was going to succeed and placing Scholes as a SMF and later on retiring before he was done playing.

People are saying if we kept him in January... its not like he'd of been in our first 11 then to be fair...lets be honest here, the picture was pretty clear after that cup game and when he was told to train with the kids. He had Mata, Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard, Willian to compete with. Mata made a slightly miraculous recovery - well if you'll call it that, although he didn't feature that much as many, myself included, hoped he would - after it seemed he was deemed surplus to requirements and would be moved on, where as Kev didn't, could have stayed but didn't (the same with Mata). I doubt Jose regrets selling him/not playing him because he was a different player in 2013/14 than he is now.

Yea, he's a better player. A game changer. We'll regret it, but fuck it.

Wolfsburg has yet to lose a game this season in bundesliga

3-2-0

After the sale of KDB, they have been 3-1-0 (including cups)

Man City has been 1-0-2 since the arrival of KDB.

He was the best rated player on city's side except against Juve where he played only 20 mins. Of course it's his fault they don't win those games. Many city fans suggest he will be better as favorite Silva and compare him to legend Colin Bell.

Don't worry guys, you have next week.

Silva returning doesn't look good for the Spurs game, so KDB will have another go as the n10.

Spurs team do one thing pretty well so far this season and that is pressing. I can imagine Lamela and chadli being dropped and bentalb/mason and ericksen returning to the starting lineup (all depends how Poch will lineup vs arsenal on wens)

It will be a good test for KDB, especially at WHL against a fast hard working team that presses well.

I think it's better to stop this 'YES vs NO' discussion. This is going nowhere!

KDB is not a part of Chelsea anymore... end of story. It's no use in trying to make all the 'what if...' stories. We have to continue with the guys in our squad!

On the other hand people that are saying he's a bad player... clearly need to start watching games instead of just following forum topics. I could understand your satellite was not picking up german broadcasting... but you should be able to watch EPL.

See you all in another topic!

I think we can all agree on part that Kdb would never make it here under Mou. Even less if he had Cesc behind.

Good player indeed, but I dont know if people watch Kdb and Chelsea and still say those two would fit together. Because its clear as day that it would not.

But he is awesome player as individual. That said I see him in same mould as Cesc, Isco, Mata etc. Technicaly great but tacticaly not much. And if Mou chelsea is anything its tactical team. We already have to cover for Cesc and get in trouble against high pressing teams, two such players would be too much.

I dont realy regret it we sold him, but more the fact that City of all teams got him now. He should just fuck off to spain or somewhere.

It could've if they gave up 4-4-2 and played with a holding midfielder (Carrick).

The amount of nonsense in this thread does one's head in... He's a world class player .. End of. He can't play defense for City but so far in his two starts at City he has 2 goals and has created an insane amount of top quality chances of not for some bad luck and better finishing he might have 4-5 assists already.

Why do you care so much though? Posts like this will trigger the same stupid debate again. He's an ex-Chelsea player playing for our big rivals so it's absolutely normal (normal, not necessarely correct) that certain members will argue his ability.

Let the season get on and this debate will settle itself.
