Thendo 1,088
BBC Sport @BBCSport10mChelsea midfielder Kevin de Bruyne is expected to complete a £16m move to German club Wolfsburg in the next 48 hours via @BenSmithBBC I guess £16m is decent if we can get Matic for ~25m
Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted January 13, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 13, 2014 £16m rising to £20m isn't bad at all, profit made, chunk of it goes to the Matic deal, shrewd business. Good luck KDB, hopefully you turn out to be the magnificent player you're promising to be. didierforever, bababoom, Ainsley Harriott and 7 others
Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted January 13, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted January 13, 2014 Although i think he will turn into a top player the only way we will regret it is if he turns on Messi or Ronaldo level. As good as he is he's not better than Hazard or Oscar. especially in Mourinho's system. I like the lad and will watch his progress with interest, his situation here is a case off right place, wrong time. I do wonder what would have happened if we lost in Munich,Hazard would almost certainly not joined and Oscar maybe too (although i think we would have got him) KDB might have got brought in there and then, guess were never know . Unfortunate for him, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Barbara, zolayes, The Skipper and 2 others

The only place to be 11,313
That much money for a player we don't really need is fantastic. Getting a player, loaning him out and £10 million profit...if we can do that a few more times then FFP shouldn't be an issue. To be honest we could 'flip' Courtois for a £20 million profit too in all likelihood. Luiz would probably make a few million whilst Mata might be close to £10 million in profit. That's the progression we needed to make, where we buy players who either retain their value or increase in value. The board deserves some credit for that. bushman 2,043
Not all players should be sold for profit. Plenty of these young players must be given a chance to play.KDB was given a chance, but some might say not a very good one. However, he did not make the most of it though. didierforever and borriske
