Paul Pogba

He is a pretty good player but never worth the 100m+ and never will be. Can't believe Thierry Henry said he reckons he will be one of the best midfielders ever... strongly disagree with that.

Quite glad we aren't competing in this "auction" for him, insane amounts of money being offered for somebody who was bigged up to be a star of the Euros but he really looked quite ordinary bar one game against Switzetland and another against Iceland.

Although if AVB got him when he still played at United and managed to play him and help develop him it would be a different story. Wonder how many people laughed in 2012 when we were linked to him, probably did so myself

So his agent is getting 25mil (20%) for this deal (split between Man Utd and Juve). Juve are not willing to pay cause Raiola is being a cunt so either Utd have to pay the extra 12.5mil for Pogba does.

Astronomical that Utd could potentially be paying 125mil all up including the agent fee..should this be true

Why would a player want to move from Juve to Utd in 2016. It's clear which of the two is the bigger team right now. Muh, money. I hope they don't sell and tell everyone to go fuck themselves. Utd had him and let him go. Had they given him a decent chance in the first team, they wouldn't have to pay a dime.

Manchester United expect to seal £100m Paul Pogba deal within 48 hours

United close to completing transfer after world record bid to Juventus
Serie A club want bonus if Pogba extends deal with José Mourinho’s side

Unless Real step in for real this seems close to being done.

Pogba sneaked into the World XI ahead of Rakitic/Vidal last year and is going for world record fee. Stellar job by his agent.

Mino Raiola is going to pocket hefty bonus on this one but I think he is right to hold them to ransom as he is due every penny he will get. He's done brilliant job for Juve/Pogba creating an image of good/occasionally very good player as if he was Xavi, Zidane, Lampard rolled into one.

I don't even want this guy. Juventus have a much better squad than Man Utd. I tell ya, they're going to be a favourite for the Champions League.

Money aside, you would be a fool to leave this Juventus team for that Manchester United team. No one would do that.

Money in, Paul does it. Money talks and it's ridiculous. I'm not saying we have signed players because they've been Chelsea fan all their lives and don't care about he money. But the whole Pogba thing is pathetic. To José actually paying that much to all those ManUre fanboys on Twitter with all the dabbing Pogba avatars. It's pathetic.

Gonna love seeing him play on Thursday night's against shite teams from shite competitions like Club Brugge or Feyenoord while Juventus is battling against the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Money talks and it's the only thing that got Pogba back in Manchester. Not his love for the club 'cause he has been there before.

Bring in a strong defender like Koulibaly, Zouma back from injury and N'Golo Kante and you have an  inpenetrable black wall. Love to see Grandpa Zlatan and this dabbing cunt try to get past those guys.

Even with money it's a stupid move. What will extra money get him? He has his cars, he has enough money to live in the most beautiful homes for the rest of his life, his family too. There is nothing that will suddenly be attainable by increasing your wages by a few million per year when you're already on a handful of millions. It changes nothing, nothing at all, everything is already paid for. So if it's motivated by money, it's stupid. If it's motivated by something other than money, then what on earth is that, because it feels pretty stupid too.

He won everything the Italian league had to offer and now he's coming home as one of the best players in the world. He proved Ferguson wrong and under Mourinho he can become the best midfielder in the world. He's overpriced, but he will make United a better team and that's all what matters when you have the money. He has friends in Manchester and actually likes it there, EPL is the biggest league in the world, week in and out week he'll be in the spotlight, very good for his brand. If i were him and would do it too, but it's not done yet, so let's see what happens.

Some of you are overly critical of him.

He is a fantastic player, with a bunch of room for growth, and plays an exciting brand of football. Not to mention he is still so young.

I don't know what some of you watch calling him rubbish, or average, because when I watch him, even when he isn't on the top of his game, he is a tremendous presence on the pitch.

Pogba is not even in top 10.

That's subjective! United clearly thinks differently. And 'one of the best players in the world' doesn't necessarily indicate top 10, which number exactly is totally random, just sayin'. :)

It's done apparently. This has to be the most insane and ridiculous piece of business in football ever. I know everyone is different in their opinions but mine is one of just pure astonishment as to how the fuck this bloke is worth 100M.

Football is well and truly fucked.

Personally for Contes system I would take N'Golo over Pog and I honsetly couldn't be happier we have him. I think hes the buy of tis season so fare.

BUT I would have jumped for the chance of Pog. Ive had this dream of Pog/Happy/Varane but that boat has sailed So we now need a shit hot CB  to replace Varane.

As for money I cant see the problem apart from his apparently £800k a week wages! He will pay for himself many times over in endorsements, image rights and shirt sales. And just look atall the new supporters that they will get worldwide.

I think its perfect business sense.
