I hope to see a positive response from the team finally and 3 or 4 goals in their net. Then beat QPR, trash Swansea and get on a good run. Bane, Essien and Danny are back, Cahill came and Mikel should be fit soon so we will have more squad depth.

Sturridge-Torres-Mata

Cahill and Essien are big risks, throwing Cahill in like that could be bad, especially if we lose i think we will have problems picking him up and we need him in form this season, and Essien could also be a risk but if he is ready as we keep hearing in the papers from AVB, then go for it, lets see how do we with him.

If there's one thing i've learned about Norwich this season, is that no one can grind a result against them, the only team how has done it were Man United, when Norwich were dreadful in the finishing department. To win this match we have to play well, they almost punished us last game, lucky enough we had that penalty and we were playing good after we were 2-1 up, plus it was a stupid mistake by Hilario.

Be good if we can go up 2-0 at least, then i can be confident, Norwich seem to always get last minute goals when needed, and it's usually from substitutes who come on and make impact in the games. I'll be a heart attack if we are drawing or leading 1 goal either it's 1-0 up or 2-1 up or what ever in the last 20 minutes of the game, just hope we can play well and finish this game of. I had a dream we where 4-0 up at half time, hopefully this dream comes true.

No way should Cahill start this one.

Ivanovic-Luiz-Terry-Cole back four is tried, tested and proven, only West Brom outside the top 6 have scored against us with that combination on the field.

I dont understand people wanting the Manchester clubs to slip up this weekend! I want them to destroy the in-form Spuds and Arsenal. We make ground on those two teams first and then there is enough time during the Europa League for the Manc clubs to drop points after a rough Thursday away night or something.

I, personally, would like draws but if there have to be any wins, I want the Manc sides getting the better of the London sides over this weekend. But all this will be moot if we dont get a win.

The outcome is going to positive for us whatever happens.. :D

We should focus on ourselves first, lol. Every time we get ahead of ourselves when other teams play each other and when someone slips up, we don't take advantage. I refuse to even think about the two Sunday games until we secure the 3 points tomorrow.

Best case scenario is:

City vs Spurs - Draw

Arsenal vs United - United win

Why?

If United win the Premier League title then it's just 'another' title added to their collection already. If City win it, it could be the first of many and they would literally buy whoever they want and keep winning the league. Spurs drawing means we are closing in on them and Arsenal losing means we are making the gap between ourselves even bigger.

You don't win any silverware with 'if'. You win silverware by winning your games. Starting tomorrow against Norwich. C'mon Chelsea!

All said... IMO, we should also improve on our scoring abilities too rather than piling up pressure on the backline. "in-this-moment" we need to address or goal-scoring issues. Cohesion amongst the players is fair but can do with a boost. :goodpost:

Could not agree more.

The positive thing is we do create chances, but we really need to do better in the finishing department.

I'm confident because i watched them against Tottenham and yids won so easily with so much still to spare, Norwich can go to a certain tempo but no more whereas the 'top' teams can go through the gears and even win games playing badly. Must win game, Torres will score.

^ I've been saying this all season.

The only difference being, zolayes isn't accusing you of being a United fan, lmao.

Yes they were already tired in the first half.
