Fernando 6,585
If true then I will have a chance to watch a match once in a while since I travel frequently to NY. That would be so awesome! Definitely nyc needed it's own team for a while, this looks like the beginning as nyc is one of the most prestigious city in the world. Magic Lamps 11,692
this can't be. He would not sign a contract before the world cup. sdrcfc

Special Juan 28,141
What makes me laugh about stuff like this is the source is the mirror, a tabloid source that that is instantly dismissed when it comes to a huge transfer target but then is held as gospel when it comes to stories like this..OK, it maybe right, but it's people thoughts to jump the gun and mud sling that really make me laugh. sdrcfc, The Skipper and manpe

Magic Lamps 11,692
It is believed Lampard broke off from his preparations with England’s World Cup party to sign the deal in Manchester on Saturday.Yet his agent has denied the move and it is believed he could retire when his contract expires.from mailso what is believed now? How can a nationwide paper have writers that bad. A logical and stylistic fail, a grade 5 pupil would not commit. It is also believed there is a flying Spaghetti monster in the orbit it is also believed it's BS. It is also believed the dailyfail is a dummwit's paper not good enough to wipe one's ass with. DidkoDrogbata 7
He is my favourite player and i will always have special place in my heart for him, but i think it's for the best for both parties to separate and Frank to be remembered as an great player until the very end. zolayes, sdrcfc and seanptmiller
The_Flash 1,144
It can only be about money which is very sad.If the rumours were true that both him and Terry were to be offered half the wages they were on.Our captain JT signed up straight away.I find it odd about Frank, I can't see why Chelsea would not want him so is it down to money.Surely you don't need any Frank?? Would you not rather retire maybe next season at Chelsea and forever be a club legend. nice statue of you outside the Bridge. The MLS is a jokePlease be rubbish I really want Frank to stay at Chelsea
Namika 922
Our best player ever. A CL or a PL would have been a good way to say goodbye. Love him so much.
Popular Post! gr123 167 Posted May 31, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted May 31, 2014 Wow. The one player who I've grown up with, joined around the same time that I properly started following the club. Will go down as a legend and rightly so. Can't imagine he was short of offers so happy he's chosen a team that won't affect Chelsea, probably did so out of respect. Probably for the best. Cheers Frank. kellzfresh, The_Flash, Reddish-Blue and 4 others
Jusek 2,031
He's my favourite player of all time, anywhere. Sad to see him go, but he will return to Chelsea organization someday, that's for sure. Strike
Beigl 1,387
Would be utterly ridiculous to let him go without proper 'Goodbye' from the fans or something like that. Strike, sdrcfc and kellzfresh
Barbara 15,149
I actually believe it was likely for him to leave the moment Terry got a quick new contract and him and Cole didn't.I don't think it's money talking or him thinking he's better than being a squad member here. I think the club just isn't that willing to keep him anymore especially because he'd only be a squad member...Ofc I don't believe the Mirror, but I still think he won't play for us again in official matches, or if he decides to retire, he'll play one more time and then retire...Either way, it's sad because the Chelsea I started watching is a lot Frank Lampard. Of course he isn't bigger or even as big as the club, but this man has always been the greatest ambassador to the club for as long as I've been a fan. He represented Chelsea wherever he went and I'll miss him dearly, but if the club decides to let him go, I'll support the club, not only because the club matters the most, but especially because I do believe it's time we part ways... sadly, but true. kellzfresh, seanptmiller and zolayes
Term-X 7,891
For Terry, this will be like getting one of his limbs cut off. Hopefully when JT calls it a day, they will have some sort of joint-testimonial, or at least have Lamps play a key role.
