Ledg 643
I'm grateful I got the chance to watch Lampard live in his last season for the club. For somebody it may not be seem right but for now I just can't watch old clips of him with his great goals, assists etc. Maybe after a month or two but atm it's just so hard... Toli 977
Remember that penalty goal in the CL semis after his mom passed away? this moment was so emotional, I think I even shed a tear or two...one of the most epic moments with Lampsy at our club. Love this guy, hopefully he will find his luck somewhere else now and return to our club as a coach one day
Popular Post! Fulham Broadway 17,319 Posted June 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted June 5, 2014 Franks Greatest Moment, according to Frank "Munich, for any Chelsea fan, and I'm pretty new to it - some of them have been through thick & thin and a lot worse with lower division football, stadium problems, the club struggling through all of that - and then we had Munich. If you're a Chelsea fan you can't say that's not the best day of your life. I know we have to say kids' births and all that but as a Chelsea fan, Munich was something unbelievable." It’s not the end of Lampard’s career in Chelsea" #CFCMourinho: "Lampard will be back, hopefully for many, many years, because he’s one of the most important players in the history of #CFC"Mourinho: "You can’t imagine how difficult it was. It’s just a little break [for Frank Lampard]" #CFCMourinho: "I think only Frank knows, but at the same time I feel some happiness about the process because, for sure, he comes back to #CFC"Mourinho: "Everybody wants it. Mr Abramovich — the No 1, the most important person — wants Frank to be back very much" #CFCMourinho: "I want Lampard to be back and the staff want him back, so he comes back for sure. He can come back the way he wants" #CFCMourinho: Mr Abramovich has left the door completely open for Lampard on the understanding Frank can do anything he wants at this club. #CFCMourinho: "The World Cup is the perfect way for somebody [like Lampard] with more than 100 caps to finish his career in the national team"Mourinho: "I told Lampard, “Don’t go more than the World Cup. The World Cup is the right moment to finish”. He accepts that." #CFCMourinho: "To finish around 110 caps is a crazy number for an outfield player. Lampard is not a goalkeeper that plays till 40 years of age"Mourinho (1/2): "Lampard is a man to play a major role in a team, not like what happened in the last year. I think for him..." #CFCMourinho (2/2): "...for his mentality, his personality, it’s better to get a club and probably a competition where he is really the top man"So that's why he will leave...Mourinho: "Lampard is a No 6, a No 10 and he wears the No 8, because he is the six and the 10 and he becomes the eight" #CFC #MourinhoMathsMourinho (1/2): "For me, Frank Lampard is the best No 8 I have managed, for sure, and I don’t see a better No 8 in the last decade..."Mourinho (2/2): "...Frank Lampard was the best for 10 years. Ledg 643
That's what I thought in the first place about leaving the club. Not about salary or term of the contract but regular playtime. Hope he'll be back someday. We'll miss you, Frank!
