What I really want to see come in is strength in depth that José really trusts. Players he's 100% comfortable with, just like Azpi, Ivanovic and Matic. For the majority of the season it's been 11 plus Cech, Ramires, Drogba and more recently Zouma. That's it. Relatively no trust in Luis, Ake, Mikel (other than 3/4 games at Christmas), Schurrle, Salah, Remy etc. Next season we need to change that to get stronger.

Another creative/goalscoring CM (Koke? Pogba? Nainggolan)

A new World Class AM (Bale? Reus? Isco?)

Listed in order of importance IMO.

Would be nice to see Mikel, Ramires, Cech, Cahill possibly Oscar and a few youngsters (Piazon, Kakuta, Marin, Wallace) sold to fund some of this.

Bring back Bamford to replace Drogba moving to the coaching team and in an ideal world have a team like this next season:

We need more physically strong players with good ability on the ball like Matic, maybe someone like matuidi. But I'll be okay with schneiderlin since he's used to the league already.

If the pretty passes aren't working, we no longer muscle our way to victory like we used to with ballack, essien and lampard. The size of our midfielders are small and if they are not passing well I see no presence.

Four kids through the spine of the side, plus Ake and Zouma? José wouldn't even risk that against League 2 at the Bridge. Just ent going to happen. Though to be picky, if it did, Ivanovic and Christensen would be switched.

Not going to be a popular view but Bamford, Kalas, Christensen, Baker, RLC and probably even Ake need a PL loan before they're going to get regular minutes here. Unfortunately only one, maybe two will do that. And that's for the most advanced of our youth, people saying the likes of Boga as part of the first team squad are dreaming.

He'll be stupid not to. His tactics need us to be defensively solid in the big games and we did it with luiz-Matic pivot last season.

We also need an fast centerback imo, we can't be attacking while scared because of fear that mane and cabella will be left one on one with our centerbacks and they're too slow to handle them alone.

He was pretty crap for Porto well at least to that extent that Porto didn't sell him for 30m plus but rather for 12m.

He has good season now but I propose to buy Naldo. He has a good season too, currently one of the best defenders in Europe.

But nah, Varane or bust for me. Unless that really nothing can be done about that so there're other options like Stones, Manolas etc. but Varane is so perfect that other options will always be with some flaws : not proactive, not tall enough, not fast enough, not good on the ball, not good in the air, not agile enough, doesn't deal great with pressure and hoofs the ball too much; Raphael Varane has it all, he's complete defender, if he will work with Jose again he will be back in contention of elite's defenders in Europe.
