If we really want attacking football to succeed than we have to back up Sarri the way City backed Guardiola.

- New full backs on both sides (upgrades to current starters) 

- Get rid of deadwood (Alonso, Luiz, Willian, Pedro, Barkley, Drinkwater) 

- Extend Higuain loan, we can't afford to overhaul whole team in one window

- Try RLC in that nr. 10 position until end of the season. We have to see if he is good enough, otherwise we need new attacking midfielder (Sarabia?) 

This would be first steps in right direction.

Seriously? He hasnt said he wanted to come here. Lol. He just said he supported us growing up, not "I want to go to Chelsea".

Fair enough perhaps you would think as a fan he'd like to but doesnt always work like that. Even look at CHO, a Chelsea fan but he wants to leave.

They are not happy with any of their LB options (Mendy due to attitude and injuries) and also need to make sure they have enough HG's. At RB, Walker also turns 30 towards the end of next season and I am positive they do not see Danilo as Walker's long terms replacement (both talent wise and age wise, as he only has 2 years left of sub 30yo play as well).

The two big needs they also have are a Fernandinho back/up replacement (they are insane if they do not try and cut a deal for Neves) and a CB to replace the spent, often-injured Kompany and the wuthless Otamendi..

David Silva turns 34 in 10 months so they will have to look to replace him soon, as well. If they go true (as MJ says) Billy Big Balls, they might shift Bernardo Silva back to MF to replace David Silva and make a move for Mbappe in the next several years.

They would still have to buy 2 LB's (Firpo and Chilwell? that would be £95m), a RB (Wan-Bissaka would cost around £35m or so, maybe £40m), another backup CB (unless they keep Kompany), a backup GK (easy enough to find or keep Bravo) and another CMF

all that would cost around £180-220m net

they obviously have that type of money

obviously they wont make all those moves, but many will happen

'Nigerian Eden Hazard' Jayden Bennetts was the star of the show as Watford sealed their place in the quarterfinals of the FA Youth Cup following their 4-1 rout of Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening.

 

Watford confirmed during the game staged at Wingate & Finchley FC that Tottenham Hotspur scout David Pleat was in the crowd for the FA Youth Cup tie, and must have taken down plenty of notes after an all-action first half.

 

Bennetts and Nigerian-born midfielder Emmanuel Adebiyi were named in the starting line-up and both went the distance for the Hornets. 

 

The Nigeria U20 invitee broke the deadlock when he smashed home from 20 yards with his left foot in the tenth minute.

 

It was 3-0 Watford after 25 minutes, thanks to skipper Ryan Cassidy who converted a spot kick after Bennetts was brought down in the box by Scott, before Hughes reduced the deficit on 34 minutes. 

 

Twenty minutes into the second half, the Flying Eagles hopeful effectively ended the game as a contest when he scored his second goal of the game.
