Should Lewa be available, I would say he is most important and top priority in summer. He will be FREE and there are not many strikers like him out there, or we would have to overpay.

Hes off to Bayern, hes had his heart set on going there for the last year now and he will definitely sign for them, I guarantee it. Why do people keep thinking we should go for him if hes 90% certain to agree a pre-contract???

Lewda is not an option.

HE's doing as much as possible via agent and PR people to say all those things to the public.

Cristiano also said all that bs as well, even when freaking his national teammates explicitly stated how he was going to move to Madrid......

Klopp stated that Lewda was gone to bayern as did a few others... If he really wasn't going to bayern, BVB would of sold him for a profit rather than lose him to a team outside the German league.....

Benzema not an option as well. RM have 1 CF and morata, who is definitely not ready to play vs the big teams.. (However, Suarez to madrid is somewhat possible).

But if Pep decides not to give him important role and play time, he might change his mind. Otherwise I agree with you.

I don't necessarily think Lewa is Pep's ideal forward but hes a forward rated very highly by Bayern, which is why I reckon no matter who was in charge, he'd end up there. He was wanted there last summer, it didn't happen, it will happen now. Even if Pep doesn't necessarily want him, his signing strengthens Bayern while weakening their main rival.

Jose Mourinho has asked #CFC to prioritize the recruitment of a top-class center forward in the January transfer window (via @DuncanCastles)

It's off he said that after saying we have good strikers after the game. If I'm honest we would have to remove Ba or Etoo

The Guardian are reporting a strong interest in Diego Costa, they say Mourinho is keen to sign him in January.

Its not them, i know where you saw it but they just gathering all rumors from the web to one article. Its the Mirror.

Diego Costa is too expensive as a bet and not tested enough to be a big signing. I'm all for getting them before they cost 50m, so you gotta do that before they start scoring every weekend.

*If* we did got for him, it would then be a long-term deal. Eto is on a 1-year contract, and Ba will be gone (IMO) soon. Diego Costa would have time to get used to English football for next season. So, we'd have Torres, Lukaku and D. Costa next season. No, not sure D. Costa is good enough.

Another player I would have gone for is Shelvey. He was cheap and could provide a very good rotation option. He's got the right attitude and good technique. His over-aggressiveness can be tamed by the right manager (like Mourinho). He could do the job Meireles did for us.

I'd rather see Chalobah or McEachran play...then pay 5 million for an average midfielder in Shelvey.

Do you really see Mourinho playing either any time soon?!

Haven't seen anything special from McEachran, and Chalobah is just too green at 18.

That's the amount of his release clause, how could they reject that?

The only one that could is Messi himself, that's BS and we won't never sign him

edit: too fast to answer, it's said that's Messi that rejected it but anyway, i'm sure it's untrue
