Vesper 31,181
Arnaut Danjuma Excellent move by Howe: Bournemouth’s £13.7m Dutch acquisition is worth the outlay https://madaboutepl.net/2019/08/bournemouth-make-a-smart-signing-in-arnaut-danjuma/ Earlier this week, Bournemouth lured Dutch wing sensation Arnaut Danjuma from Club Brugge to the Vitality Stadium for a reported transfer fee of £13.7million. Bournemouth finished fourteenth in the Premier League standings last season and it goes without saying that they will strive for a top-ten finish in the upcoming campaign. Danjuma has been the fourth signing by Bournemouth in the ongoing transfer window and there is no denying that Eddie Howe has been shrewd in beefing up his ranks this summer. Howe’s camp had already acquired the services of Philip Billing, Lloyd Kelly, and Jack Stacey and the entry of Danjuma has further enhanced the quality of Howe’s arsenal. snip 11Drogba

Vesper 31,181
this is exactly why it is so easy to hate Real Madrid James had a £38m buy-out option that Bayern (stupidly I think) turned down (they could sold him on for a lot more) but we go with that £38m as Real's valuation on him (literally) so now look at this, lol Man United reject Real Madrid bid for Paul Pogba which included James Rodriguez in player-plus-cash deal https://talksport.com/football/582448/man-united-real-madrid-bid-pogba-james-rodiguez/ Manchester United have reportedly rejected a £27.4million plus James Rodriguez bid for Paul Pogba from Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane wants to sign the France star before the LaLiga transfer window closes on September 2. snip LOLOLOL Real is literally offering (around £65m in valuation based off their OWN numbers) less than half what Manure said (not saying Manure gets the £135m) they want for Pogba it is a fucking joke! They said it was not their style to treat a player as cash cow but what they meant is that Madrid gave them special conditions in the first place based on their club friendship and they would not want to waste that. Danilo was decent at Porto but hasnt kicked on since where as Cancelo, for me, is one of the best offensive full backs in Europe. Every time he gets in the final third he has a real desire to contribute in a positive way. Why Juve and Sarri would even consider selling him for only 30m and Danilo is incrediblely stupid. Attempting to swap Dybala for Lukaku and now Cancelo for Danilo? Juventus are making some weird moves for players that don't seem to fit Sarri's style at all. That Dybala-Lukaku swap attempt is Juventus trying to get an expensive player Dybala off the books and screw Conte up by getting Lukaku, knowing Inter can pose a domestic challenge to them. Big wages for 34 maybe (coming from Juventus it doesnt really surprise me) but his playing style has never been reliant on pace so at 33 or 34 he can offer them something that Rashford and Lukaku perhaps cant. Would of been similar to us signing Dzeko with Conte few seasons back, like Dzeko he can still get goals in and around the box, threat in the air, good at holding the ball up. Can see why he is definitely not a player for Sarri though who likes his CF to come off the center backs and het involved in the build up but for a team like United who play lots of crosses from wide areas, hes got that knack of getting on the end of things. Could actually be a shrewd short term move to give them an alternative to Rashford who will be their main CF undoubtedly but given all the messages OGS sent out about wanting young players to develop at United, it is also weird to see him want a 30 plus year old. Pizy 19,383
What a weird transfer that would be. I still think it's super dumb the way they've essentially flushed Lukaku down the drain. Think there will come a point during the season when they regret doing so. Neither Rashford nor Martial are consistent goal scorers. No guarenteed Mandzukic works out, either. Vesper 31,181
fuck Everton offer Crystal Palace £65m plus Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy for Wilfried Zaha https://metro.co.uk/2019/08/05/everton-offer-crystal-palace-65m-plus-cenk-tosun-james-mccarthy-wilfried-zaha-10524350/ Everton have offered Crystal Palace £65million plus Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy for wantaway forward Wilfried Zaha, reports say. Zaha has made more than 300 appearances in two spells at Selhurst Park, developing into a fans’ favourite and one of the most highly-rated players in the Premier League. The Ivory Coast international has pushed for a move away this summer, however, and initially dreamed of joining Palace’s London rivals Arsenal, who he supported as a child. Arsenal baulked at Palace’s valuation of Zaha, however, and subsequently turned to Nicolas Pepe and completed a club-record deal for the fellow Ivorian. if they pull this off and get a decent CB they are a scary fucking team, I have to say we will deffo have another side to battle for Europe

He told UOL (h/t Football Italia) there has been contact between the two parties, but a move isn't close: "He’s a great player and we’ve been in contact. He’s shown interest in playing for Flamengo, but nothing’s been decided yet. He’s a great player, but a lot of water still needs to run under that bridge." snip

By the sounds of it he's doing the exact same thing he did to us and rage quitting because he actually has to fight for his place instead of having it handed to him. It was one of the many reasons i was happy to see him leave and fundamentally didn't want him back under any circumstances, he thinks far too highly of himself and unlike a Zlatan or CR7 doesn't have the talent nor the attitude to back it up. When I posted to say that he wasn't good enough someone told me I didn't know what I was talking about. It sounds patronising, and I apologise, but I do think some people are susceptible to YouTube clips of full backs delivering a few good crosses. All footballers deliver some good crosses and some bad ones. Delivering even a few good ones does not make a player fundamentally good at crossing, and it definitely does not make him a good full back.
