Unionjack 7,531
Look. Ive just got in after the game (well via a few pubs ) And I had a thought. We know its very silly season but with Cescy on the bench tonight (our most creative midfielder) he really isn't going to like it. And with the reports of him already being offered around most of Italy Ive just read that his reps have APPARENTLY been asked tro approach RM. And I wondered just who it was that is supposed to have put a bid in for Rodriguez for £72mill the end of last week? Cause after Willians alarm clock didn't wake him up to goto the game tonight it would be one hellova deal using Cescy as a swap if poss eh? Silly season or pipe dream I dunno. Suppose it depends on how pissed off Rodriguez is.

The Belgium international, capped 46 times for his country, has penned a three-year contract at Turf Moor on leaving Anderlecht. The midfielder was once courted by Sir Alex Ferguson for Manchester United, with the former Red Devils boss going so far as to write Defour a sympathy letter following a broken metatarsal in 2009. And he is relishing his chance to finally play in the English top flight.

Yeah, look how quickly Jose got his players at United. We are obviously still trying to haggle with fees but we finished 10th. Invest big now and let Conte pick his players in the long run it will save money. Rather that than sack another manager and pay them off and get in the odd few players every window. We are shit because since Joses first time hear no manager has had the opportunity to build their own team with decent investment bellion

United are thinking they just god Jesus Christ in human form in their club named José Mourinho. They'll please him with everything they can and that also means with transfers. Louis van Gaal also got every target he got. But that also portraits the sad truth: United have much more ambition than we have.

Artandur 939
If we're splashing big money on a CB and yet another striker, could that mean conte wants to play 3-5-2 after all ? Unionjack
LAM09 7,056
Dumb comparison. United are a much bigger club than us. The size of the club isn't the issue here. It's the reluctance to throw a any figure around at the problem like the former have done.
The Skipper 20,609
Arsenal apparently in for £40m rated Raul Gimenez from Atletico. Wouldn't mind him instead of K2 tbh.

You mean Jose Gimenez right? I think him for 40-50 would be a better deal. And still 21 as well. The Skipper
Bulshizza 15
Why don't we thinking Fenerbahce's Kjaer. (Denmark's ınternatıonal) He's better than Terry/Cristensen/Miazga
LDN Blue 7,903
I remember when Kjaer first came on the scene as one of the most sought out young defenders in the game , he was one of the famous Palermo hot boys so maybe @calculatingInfinity can give us some more information on when he was there. Surprised when he then signed for Wolfsburg over all the rumoured parties chasing him. How he's ended up at Fenerbahce since is somewhat of a mystery lol. I watched him full of a season at Fenerbahce. Biggest fan of him: me. Im sure that he'll be more usefull than Zouma or Christensen. Just watch him at Denmark vs Portugal Eurocup Quailifes match. He beated Ronaldo. So, he can be the most handsome and cool player in BPL. I really want him to see with a blue kit. LDN Blue

Well Kaejr is 27 which the latter two are 21 and 20 respectively. So I see where you're coming from, he can be a good stopgap until those two come to full maturity. However coming from the Turkish league I don't think he'll be preferred to the younger and more physically intimidating Koulibaly. Quick google search on the Dane shows Arsenal with a strong link to them, but I'm still unsure if Mustafi actually rejected them or not. This guy had bags of potential when he was in his early 20s. Blue Colored Sky 1,807
Really do think that we're going to sign 3 more significant players. Don't count me on that but it's calm before the storm. Basically we have to sign a player every 4 days, sounds crazy but lots of buisness in general is left late in the market. Real didn't sign a player(bar Morata) even though they have transfer ban for 2 years. Something is wrong here.
