As seen yesterday, Mata is No.10 without any doubt. The best position for him.

It actually more like Mata adapting to the Mourinho's way of playing the #10 role, dropping deep, breaking the opposing counters and defending hard.

Mata did show that he could go there with his performance against Swindon.

But it seems that Mata is the better #10 no matter what.

I think Jose's mistake was starting Lampard - Mikel in such a high-intensity game.

As for benching Mata..it seems to have motivated him to become a better all-round player.

Maybe Jose should bench Hazard for a game or two, just to let him know that he's not untouchable.
