Stingray 9,441
Maybe Skipper .... I think Lukaku will never be a complete player. He will always be a pure bred goalscorer with quasi limited technical ability. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD I agree that he won't ever become amazing technically but there are certain refinements he can make, and for that to happen he needs to be playing regularly. The thing is with me, I don't want Romelu to just be content with being a solid goal scorer, I want h to be the best he can be, because he certainly has the mentality for that. He has the mentality alright. He will improve for sure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Gil 28
He has amazing mental strength, presence, power and pace but he's still a donkey technically. He's like a more powerful version of Javier Hernandez.
bushman 2,043
His movement looks much better already. His presence alone puts fear into defendersI hope, you don´t think he learned that at Everton.
sutro 1,026
He's 80% of a game crap, poor technique and much much more to add to his flaws but.............,He ALWAYS score and thats only thing that realy counts for a strikerIn a few years from now nobody will remember his poorlink-up play or technique, but his goals are written down Barbara
Popular Post! Jype 6,398 Posted November 23, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted November 23, 2013 Lukaku will never be first choice for Chelsea. No matter how much he scores at everton, mou will say "it's not the same as for chelsea" and buy a 28y old experienced instead. No Way mou will take the risk of having a 22yold as first choice, face it.Seriously, where the fuck is this coming from? Mourinho didn't have a problem trusting a 22-year-old Benzema to be his first choice striker at Real Madrid because he was good enough and the same happened with young Raphael Varane too when he took Pepe's place in the team despite the Portuguese being one of Jose's favorite players for a couple of seasons in a row. Sooner or later the same will happen with Lukaku too if he's patient enough. Was against the loan initially but I've been proven wrong many times already. Last season Lukaku was at a small club playing hoof ball and he scored a lot of goals despite not getting a lot of minutes but now he's at a team playing a possession game and seems to be thriving when given the chance to play 90 minutes every game. He scores goals which take away points from our rivals and becomes a better player in the process so what's not to like? We seem to be doing okay with Torres and Eto'o at the moment so I don't see a problem with letting Lukaku mature for a year while playing 90 minutes week-in week-out. This is exactly what Romelu needs right now with the World Cup coming up and all. Stingray, Ainsley Harriott, The Mak and 6 others

Score goals, some pretty dribbling is left for those Brazilians.
CHOULO19 24,332
I think we saw the best and the worst of Romelu today. The most important thing today, though, is that he helped his team take 2 points off Liverpool. Barbara

Fernando 6,585
Keep doing what you doing. And it's getting boring hearing the same bitch and moaning from people that he's at Everton and not at Chelsea. What's done is done. At least we loan him then selling him like we did with Sturridge. So he still has a chance to come back next season in better condition. Mr_er
