I was already annoyed at how he decided not to fight for his place at chelsea last summer and pussied out, asking to be let go to another team all because he was more interested in his chances to go to WC2014 than to do what is right for the club that pays his wages....

Oh no, he as a football player would rather keep his options open to play at the biggest event in the sport, something that's only organised every four years, in stead of warming the bench for 1 has been (Torres) and one decent striker that used to be better (Eto'o). We did gave away Sturridge to Liverpool for a cut price after they screwed us over with Torres.

So our club ain't the best in that department.

He got 15 minutes in the first game, 25 in the second, wasn't used against United and then got 22 minutes in the Super Cup Final before asking to leave.

It sounds like we're going to see what's available in the market before deciding on him. That's fair enough.

Let me say this for the 10th time. Lukaku isn't stupid, hes actually really smart and is humble in life. He knows his position and who he is and what he's done. He knows rightfully for a club like ours he needs to happily accept a back-up striker role. After he missed that penalty for us he was rattled, he knows the responsibility there is in being first striker for an expensive club. What scared him was Eto'o coming in and him being 4th striker, and rightfully so a young guy like him shouldn't like that. Anyone claiming he has a problem with being second striker is totally out of order.

Funny thing is, if we bought a decent striker when we bought Torres (I know, nobody could tell he was going to be this shit) we finished off games way earlier in 11/12 season and Romelu would have had many more minutes and chances back then.. Perhaps he allready was 2nd strike by now then..
