I've never seen him play there, but Bosingwa on the other hand has performed surprisingly good at CB whenever needed. Plus that would keep him away from the RB position!

romeu played cdm as well as cb in the u23 tournament that spain won with his fellow teammate mata.. from what i saw he is also a very good cb due to the fact he reads the game very well and his passing out of the back could be very useful

I'm glad I'm not the only person that has noticed Bosingwa's exploits at CB. I think Romeu is the safer bet, Bos could replicate his form or run around like a headless chicken.

Probably the only think AVB did right was letting him break through and playing him often. Most of us including me thought he'd nail the CDM spot ahead of Mikel with how he was playing. Mikel's been fantastic tho since Feb. I hope Romeu continues to fight, it's gonna be hard tho, harder than last season. Good luck to him.

We will need him next season, Mikel is in exceptional form, but he can't play every game in all 7 competitions. I reckon Oriol will get 20-25 games next season if he can stay injury free.

He's still a young player and he's admitted a few poor performances affected his confidence. I fully expect young players to go through ups and downs and hope to see him back on the pitch next season. Believe he has qualities which can contribute positively to CFC.

Really hoping to see more of him next season. Will be in his 2nd and last year(IIRC) of the supposed buy-back clause inserted by Barca in his contract. Suspecting that was the reason why he was underused under RDM because it would have triggered the mentioned clause.
