You're right.

---------------Diego Alves---------------

Pereira--------Rami-------Albiol---------Alba

---------------Banega-----Gago-----------

----Silva------------Soldado-------------Mata

-------------------Villa-------------------------

Mint team.

And then there is Canales, Parejo, Costa, Alberto Costa, Piatti, Cissoko, Mathieu, Guardado. That's a squad that would definitly be challenging. The only thing missing is a bit of muscle in the middle of the park.

David Villa wants to quit Barcelona next month - and is targeting a move to Chelsea.

Spain striker Villa has had enough of bench duty at the Nou Camp, having made just five La Liga starts for Barca since his August return from a broken leg.

And while Italian champions Juventus are also keen on landing the 31-year-old, sources close to Villa have reported he wants to come to the Premier League - with Chelsea top of his list.

The Mirror reported on Wednesday that interim Blues boss Rafa Benitez is keen on landing Villa, with the Spaniard offering a cryptic reply following the Boxing Day win at Norwich: "I don't discuss these things. It's important for any club to keep such things quiet. We will see."

Barca sporting director Andoni Zubizareta has insisted Villa is not for sale when the window opens.

But Villa's agent, Victor Onate, fuelled the speculation further as he said: "There is always rumour and speculation about David and his future because he is a great striker.

"His future is in the hands of Barcelona. We are aware of the speculation but he has a contract and it is always important to respect agreements."

Barca would want around £12million for Villa, who has 18 months left on the contract he signed when arriving at the Nou Camp from Valencia in 2010.

Chelsea, with a strict policy of only offering 12-month deals to players over 30, would appear to be out of the running for a permanent transfer.

But a loan deal, allowing Villa to rediscover full form in the Premier League and giving Benitez extra fire-power, would appear to meet the wishes of both clubs and the player.
