  1. A CAM? Really? Mata, Oscar, Hazard, KDB, and probably Schurrle, can all play there. And if he can play DM I can't see him being much, if at all, better than Ramires. Not to mention Aké, Chalobah and Loftus-Cheek. Squad player or not; develop any one of our youngsters or buy this guy? Or put the money towards a completely necessary purchase like a world-class ST/CB/DLP/DM? Burn this thread. Jesus.
  2. Sorry...but, what the hell is that?! lol "Eden Hazard - The real spirit of Joe Cole's magic...al skills reincarnated and expressed through a Belgian in Stamford Bridge, Fulham road, SW6, London - CFC4eva" I don't mean to make fun! Well... Anyway, it's just very, very odd that's all!
  3. I say Mourinho has nowhere else to go, not because of Roman, but because I don't see Mourinho kicking up a fuss this time. He's done all he wants in the other two major leagues. Also, Roman wants stability, otherwise he wouldn't have made such promises to AVB in the past and now Mourinho is offering it the same. I can't see him falling down so stubbornly like AVB. AVB fucked up so bad he was asking to get sacked. I also think Mourinho has learnt a lot from the past 6 years. Especially after working at Madrid. Madrid is a circus compared to us in all honesty. P.S. Guardiola clearly doesn't like competition, so I doubt he'll come to the most competitive league in the world anytime soon. Unless he gets a monopoly team like Barca/Munich. Martinez, lol.
  4. Unless Klopp becomes available, I don't see any other manager that could be better. I also don't really see anywhere else for José to go until he wants to manage Portugal when he's 60-65+.
  5. 4th of June Jamie Redknapp: "I don't think this one is going to be a long-term marriage, more of an affair, but Mourinho will come in and make a real impact." 5th of June José Mourinho: "I have a big emotional connection with the club, I have got a very young team in my hands with a lot of very young talented players, it's time to develop the players. The players need stability and I am in Chelsea to give that stability to the team and players, and I am going to stay a long time." Lol, tit.
  6. I head a £34m 'deal' with a £22 transfer fee + £12m 5yr contract!
  7. 'Meh' pretty much sums up my feelings on this transfer. £17m is a good price as far as I can see. Don't forget of the 'Chelsea tax' we usually pay on every single transfer and the fact that Germans rarely leave the Bundesliga, unless it's for serious money. He's not Hazard or Mata level of quality, but I do think he's ahead of Moses. Price seems right. Don't forget, this is the same day that City paid £22m for a 28yr old Brazilian whose played the majority of his career in the Ukrainian League...I think we're OK tbh.
  8. @Stingray mate, you better make this a good one, you've been built up here!
  9. Capoué is a ball-winner, not a DLP. Completely different types of DMs, so no point in comparing. They would best be used alongside one another in my opinion. One dictates the play, while the other does more of the dirty work. + Copoué is only 24.
  10. Don't know why you went through all that trouble! Here: http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/81471/1/watch-chelsea-tv.html
  11. Not only am I ecstatic, but a lot of my friends owe me a lot of money/drinks! Welcome home José you beautiful bastard!
  12. ...are the rules, are the rules, are the rules!
  13. Thank god. Two possible positives from this: 1. We're not splurging a vast amount on one player, meaning an overall improvement to the team (hopefully) 2. Or, if we still really want to spend a lot of money on a striker, it increases our chances of Cavani (who I think is better and would suit us better). Either way, it's a win-win as far as I can see!
  14. Lol, but we are fucking terrible in all honesty!
  15. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/8742186/Manuel-Pellegrini-claims-to-have-verbal-agreement-to-take-over-at-Manchester-City Manuel Pellegrini claims to have verbal agreement to take over at Manchester City Pellegrini all but confirmed it seems. I'm not worried about them to be honest really. They don't really have a winning mentality at the moment and Pellegrini is better than Mancini, but he can't wave a wand in the first day with all their egos. Is his English even any good? As the only place to be said, we'll have Jose, who will be the best manager in the league. I'm not worried about them or United for that matter. I'm not saying we'll walk the league, but we shouldn't fear anyone.
  16. UK... You better be trolling me boy!
  17. I agree with where you're coming from totally! Well, not 'mistakes' really. They are rare. What I mean to say was that there have been a number of times where I thought he could've done a lot better. I'm not saying these could've been avoided with Courtois, but I think he is more motivated to impress and better himself on a constant basis in comparison.
  18. Can't wait to see what other mid-table players they sign for next season!
