He’s simply too much of a liability at this rate. Dave was always a great defender, if nothing else. Now, that is gone so there’s not much else left in terms of contribution on the pitch. Anything is better. Our youth academy isn’t half bad these days it seems (Lamptey, Tino, Guehi etc.). Promoting someone there might be better than letting great talent go to other teams, which is what we’ve done for the past 2 seasons.

Havertz is filling a gap which Lukaku could not. He is not a striker. Unfair, I feel.

Lampard needs to disassociate from all of the superfluous bullshit he uses as an excuse to have him in the team; '''he's great in training, he's a great attitude'' etc. and look at the shit performances when he is on the pitch. Lampard also has to be biased cause he is an English lad, I can't see anything else logical. Simply put, Everton's leftovers are not good enough for Chelsea Football Club.

I remember seeing him in preseason with a mate and we both commented how terrible he was (against a local Irish team btw, so you can imagine how bad they are). Bats looked x10 times the player at the time, not a lie. His purple patch is over and his limited ability is on full display. I am hesitant to even call him a back-up striker because you need to be somewhat reliable for that role.

Jorginho needs good midfield partners around him to succeed. Playing the man child Barkley (out of position) near him certainly doesn't help. Kante-Jorginho-Kokavic is our best midfield IMO but he can also sit out games where we have most of the ball anyway. There have also been games against City, of all teams, where we dominated the ball and it was because of him. If Pep got him instead, I have a feeling we would be purring over the prospect of having him in the team. The fact is, there were a lot of players all around him today who do absolutely nothing to help him shine. He is surrounded by crap. A shakey defence, braindead fullbacks and two naive and shy midfielders who are out of position. I can't think of any player in his position who would have done a good job under those circumstances today. I kind of feel sorry for him tbh.

Lampard is getting away with murder because of the transfer ban and playing young English players. Rarely gets his starting 11 right, plays players out of position, can't organise a defence and drops so many ridiculous points. Not even this game, I mean absolutely shocking results like Newcastle, Brighton, Southampton, Bournemouth etc. Really fucking bad. Not fucking good enough all around.

I'm convinced Sarri cannot handle managing a big club. His Sarri-ball nonsense may work for smaller teams, but when you already have 50-60%+ of the ball due to being the bigger team, you have to find out how to break teams down. Playing Hazard as a false nine and CONTINUALLY CROSSING THE BALL TO PLAYERS WELL UNDER 6 FEET is certainly not the way. He is struggling immensely when he comes up against any sort of quality, has no plan B, is tactically naive and stubborn. The board got what they wanted anyway. A yes man.
