  1. Would love Pogba in our midfield (if Ramires & Mikel both get sold)
  2. Casemiro will probably be going on loan according to reports... Totally forgot about Alonso!
  3. Without Khedira, they have no defensive midfielder. Kroos is rubbish on defense
  4. Isn't Khedira more of a defensive midfielder?
  5. Totally agree, I think this season would be a perfect opportunity to see a youngster like Chalobah or Van Ginkel make the step-up to the first team I really like Van Ginkel's skill-set, looks like the type of player that could add something different to our experienced trio in Matic, Fabregas and Ramires..
  6. I would say Miroslav Stoch was good enough to play for us as a squad winger.
  7. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20140701/united-sign-siem-de-jong_2281670_3943578 Siem De Jong is officially a Newcastle player
  8. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2014/07/01/exclusive-arsenal-agree-32m-deal-to-sign-alexis-sanchez-shirt-number-assigned-personal-terms-agreed/ Sanchez to Arsenal almost done
  9. I'm kinda glad we didn't sign Kroos. I'd rather see Van Ginkel get some time on the pitch
  10. That money should be spent on getting a striker and a LB Godin is quality but we don't need him...what would we do with 5 CB's next season?
  11. The Garay deal is said to be worth about €15m (£12m) - Telegraph Benfica will only receive 6 million euros as they own 40% of his rights. Real Madrid get 50% and third-party gets 10%
  12. If Oscar develops properly and adds some muscle, he could easily be our #8 for years to come... As for James Rodriguez, he's the perfect #10. Dribbling ability, technically gifted, vision, flair, a natural playmaker
  13. I was about to make a similar post about Oscar. Oscar is more of a lightweight #8 (central midfielder) than a true #10 (attacking midfielder) I think based on Oscar's best attribute, maybe we'll see him play more of a CM role this season in a 4-3-3? (with Fabregas as the more 'advanced' mid)
  14. It doesn't matter how hard FIFA punish Suarez, the guy has serious mental issues. And anyway...if he's banned for Uruguay, it just means he'll be available for the Scum without any disruptions...
  15. If you don't win the title, does it really matter if you finish 2nd?
  16. I've seen both Belgium games and Lukaku looks disinterested half the time. The kid has talent, no question about it...but without hard work and competition, he won't live up to his potential I'm one of Lukaku's biggest supporters but I can understand why Mourinho may choose to sell him in this transfer window...
  17. Solid HG squad player, kind of like Ryan Bertrand, when called upon...generally puts in a 6/10 performance Everton seems like a good destination, as Roberto Martinez should know how to get the best out of him
  18. I just hope Diego Costa has a positive impact on our team (assuming the deal is pretty much done) I've been critical of Diego Costa in my previous posts...but considering the other realistic options are Balotelli and Mandzukic, signing Diego Costa seems like the best option. Physical player, good header of the ball, solid finisher, has that edge in his game As for the World Cup...I don't know the full back story but Diego Costa never seemed like the right fit into Spain's style....he would of been a nice plan B for Brazil's NT
  19. Provided that we sign a quality LB, our defence won't be that far behind Atletico's! E.g. Azpi - JT - GC - Luis is quite similar to: Juanfran - Miranda - Godin - Luis
  20. We could just recall Atsu from Vitesse, rather than buying this kid Atsu has been a bright spark for Ghana in the World cup, both against USA and Germany..
  21. Juventus sign another French talent (on a free transfer)...first it was Pogba and now Kingsley Coman http://www.football-italia.net/50888/juventus-snap-psg-talent-coman
  22. If only we didn't have Willian...Alexis Sanchez would have been a nice addition to our squad
  23. Tracksuits just look tacky. His clothes may not represent Chelsea...but... He's the manager of a massive football club, earning millions...it can't be that hard to put on a matching shirt and pants
  24. What credit does he deserve? He's a solid player who had a strong season in Jose's tactics Would he be able to replicate those performances for a team that isn't as well structured like Arsenal or Tottenham? I doubt it
