  1. Oscar isn't creative. He's effectively a lightweight central midfielder, playing as a #10
  2. Asterisk? Liverpool rode their luck and took advantage of Chelsea and City dropping points against lower-half teams You can only beat what's put in front of you and that's what Liverpool did
  3. When he first signed...I didn't think he was going to be this good. Credit to Cahill, he has really upped his game this season and now he's one of the first names on the team sheet
  4. RIP Tito Good guy, good manager, way too young
  5. That sounds great on paper....but it won't happen. We need another experienced player in midfield...particularly if both Mikel and Lampard leave at the end of the season Baker needs a loan spell in England...maybe Middlesbrough could take him next season
  6. Liverpool doesn't have tough fixtures remaining... Crystal Palace (A) and Newcastle at Anfield is hardly difficult for a team capable of outscoring anyone in the league at the moment..
  7. Hypothetically...would Koke fit in our 'pivot'? He seems like an upgrade on Ramires in my opinion...
  8. Bertrand? I'm glad he went to Aston Villa...he gets to play regular football and put himself in the shopping window for mid-table/lower PL clubs
  9. We paid the right amount for Salah...but we overpaid for Schurrle
  10. Such bad news after a good away result Cech & Terry gone for the rest of the season
  11. No champions league is a good thing for United They can get rid of the deadwood in the squad and start the rebuilding process
  12. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BlwLEuiIcAAGQEI.jpg:large
  13. Astronomical amounts? United paid 37 million for a player worth around 25 million
  14. Winning the FA Cup would not have helped Martinez manage United. United need a Mourinho, Van Gaal, Hiddink, Ancelotti.....someone that has successfully managed the biggest clubs in the world and someone that knows how to deal with high level pressure every day of the week.
  15. Completely agree. Would love to see Willian given a run of games as the #10 because he's got that creative spark we've been looking for...
  16. Mata's ability to create chances would have definitely helped us against the likes of Sunderland and Villa. In the attacking sense, he's twice the player Oscar is right now and he seemed to have a solid understanding with Hazard. Would have loved to have seen Mata in the #10 with Matic - Luiz behind him...
  17. Who cares about Liverpool? Let's worry about fixing up our blunt attack and then winning the title next season!
  18. Most of the people want him cause he'd be a homegrown squad player. (assuming Moses and Bertrand are gone in the summer...we need replacements)
  19. There will always be bias in the refs....but when your strikers are pathetic and your midfield can't create good chances against teams that park the bus....you'll be lucky to win the title. Liverpool might be the media darlings but who cares about that... Rodgers put faith in attacking football and it has paid off. Suarez and Sturridge have 50 goals between them and Sterling looks like a top prospect...
  20. Wouldn't mind Welbeck as Ba's replacement Homegrown, has pace, has the physical attributes to do well in the PL, just needs a breakout season
  21. Rodgers faith in youth is something to admire. The likes of Flanagan & Sterling would probably be sitting on the bench if they were at Chelsea...
  22. He needs to go at the end of the season Van Ginkel and/or Chalobah can take his place on the bench
  23. The biggest problem is creativity from center-midfield. Lampard isn't getting any younger, Ramires looks lost on the pitch half the time and Oscar is still maturing. We don't have that mature 25-28 year old creative midfielder anymore...Mata was that player but for whatever reasons, he just didn't fit Jose's system
  24. The title won't go to City... If Liverpool win 3 out of 4 remaining games, they will have 86 points City have to win all 5 games to get 86 points...and from what i've seen, they're going to drop points in at least one of their remaining fixtures.
  25. We just handed the title to Liverpool...they can even afford to lose against us at Anfield The wankfest over Gerrard will be too much to handle... If only we could have beaten Crystal Palace and Sunderland...
