  1. It's okay for an away kit. Anyway be prepared to see more of our third kit, kinda like it was the case last season, when the black kit was used more often than the white one with the diagonal light blue stripe.
  2. I don't think he is overrated, but for some reason I had the feeling he will flop if he joins us. Anyway, he's off to Monaco, it's not our problem what he is going to do now.
  3. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/317593/ I don't want to even think how horrible it'd be if he leaves, let alone if he goes to Shitalona.
  4. If we didn't have Hazard, then sure, why not, but the thing is we do have him and we need to fix our pivot and striker issues first.
  5. Extra time! Palace are all over Watford though. Go Zola!
  6. The battle for 4th place between Real Sociedad and Valencia is on. They are level on points, but I don't rate the former's chances as they play Real Madrid today and then away to La Coruna (who are still in the relegation battle) on the final matchday, while Valencia play Granada home and Sevilla away.
  7. Why two of Dortmund's key players are so desperate to join Munich is beyond me. They've won the league twice in the last 3 years in Germany, the Deutscher Pokal, they reached the UCL final so why? It'd make much more sense if they wanted to join Real Madrid, Barcelona or some top EPL team, but instead they are going to the rival team
  8. So it's either us, Shitty or Madrid. As far as I know City are throwing Dzeko into the deal, but I believe Rafa would prefer his favourite Nando. Hopefully he'll have some influence on that transfer.
  9. I feel really sorry for Dortmund, especially Kloppo. Weidenfeller made some magnificent saves and for a moment I thought they are going the Chelsea road, but the defence let them down especially in the last quarter of the match as it was torn apart by the Munich attack. I honestly believe Dante should have received a second yellow for the yakuza kick on Reus in the penalty area and that would've definitely changed the course of the match, but anyway it is what it is. Roll on European Super Cup.
  10. We lost, but it's just a friendly, so who cares? MONEY!
  11. So, after Rafa got himself a job at Napoli, maybe Inter could go after RDM?
  12. Once again, good luck, Rafa! You got yourself a good team. Seeya in the Champions League!
  13. When Yossi f'n Benayoun is above you in the pecking order that's a clear sign that you don't belong to ambitious club like Chelsea. Not even deserving to sit on the bench.
  14. I agree we need to strengthen our midfield behind the number 10 man and the wingers and solve the problem in the striker department, but I think bar Lewandowski I don't rate any of the suggestions in both areas. Why buy Weimann when we have Lukaku? Higuain and Sanchez are shit and the latter is not a striker. The Courtois situation is more complicated. I don't see him challenging Cech for the spot at least for another year and he is simply too good to fill the Turnbull role and having keeper rotation is also unacceptable. About Mikel I should say I am not really a big fan, but you definitely went a little harsh on him. There was a time this season, while he was in Africa to play for Nigeria in ACON and David Luiz was still getting used to his new position in the double pivot, when his defensive presence was heavily missed and we let a shitload of goals.
  15. I think this guy deserves a mention. I haven't see that much of him in his prime, but his performances in the 98 World Cup were really special. That's actually the first football event I have clear memories about. Too bad he later had a stint with Arsenal.
  16. Well, I can easily say which German team you are not passionate about Obviously Bayern fans don't have many reasons to like us, especially as we ruined their big moment of winning the CL at home.
  17. Spot on. In the last two years all we buy is young, undeveloped and still unproven talent. And actually that's great, but we need someone who can lead our attack the way Drogba did. Some world class striker like Lewandowski, Cavani, Falcao, Rooney like Torres or Shevchenko
  18. Poor Robbie. With all the manager shuffles in the top teams no one mentions his name and it looks unlikely that he'll get a job at a decent team. It's hard to imagine a recent Champions League winning manager will find it that hard, but I guess the majority of teams share the Roman view of him that he got lucky or that he had a minor role in last year's success.
  19. In my childhood years almost every player like Beckham, Fat Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Henry and most of those overhyped by the media, I considered overrated, probably because of childish fanboyism and me trying not to follow the masses I never actually had a hero and a role model until this man stepped in the big scene:
  20. I really like it here. After every match or if some big news around the team emerge, one of my first thoughts is: "Let's see what the talkchelsea.net forum guys have to say about this". Another thing is how well everything is organized. Every player has a topic about himself, the pre and post match threads, all the articles, analyses and the opposition views. It's obvious how much effort the staff and a lot of the members put, so the forum can be appealing to all the die-hard Chelsea fans to join and feel part of the community.
  21. By the way, did we use the next season's kit?
  22. We lost after a 3-0 lead? LOL! I'm glad I didn't watch, or better yet I'm glad that didn't happen during the season, I'd have gone mad
  23. Rafa and Nando. Still a better love story than Twilight What can I say, if we receive an offer of 20-25 mln pounds I think we should cash in as that'll probably be the best we could ever get for him.
  24. It's just a friendly, but I'll be delighted if we win, since they beat us in 3 of the 4 games we played against them this season.
