  1. It's obvious we're not the favourites, but who knows they had a painful defeat this week and with the Rooney turmoil and there is also the possibility we rise up to the occasion. Still not really looking forward for the game.
  2. I consider 4th a big fail. Finishing behind one of those North London jokes is unacceptable, so let's concentrate on regaining our 3rd place, rather than losing 4th.
  3. Fuck this shit. We'll probably thrash them in the rematch but even if we don't at least we'll be out of this lowly competition and concentrate on our domestic stuff.
  4. I'd like to see a team which is close to a carbon copy to the one against Boro. Since Ramires and Moses aren't playing I'd put Mikel and Marin in their place. Would be interesting to see how Ake is going to do if he is played. However I have the feeling Rafa won't rest too many players and he'll start Mata and Lamps again.
  5. Manure getting a taste of their own medicine. Gotta say that feels a lot better than Real outplaying them without any drama. What a lovely evening.
  6. LOL at the people saying we made a mistake with sacking AVB just because Spurs are 2 points ahead of us, while the season is far from finished. Bale won't be saving his arse forever and with the tougher league games to come, I can see them struggling a lot and many people will revert back to the idea that he is shit.
  7. Speaking of player comparison I was thinking of something else. How do you think our Eden stands next to Spurs' monkey boy?
  8. Awful defending by Arsenal. Both goals scored the same way with the through ball while the defenders were standing there like statues.
  9. Should have been more, but I'd gladly take the 3 points regardless of the scoreline.
  10. Pure class! Came in, made an immediate impact, did his thing to set up the second goal and kill off the game.
  11. If Rafa indeed gets the sack I don't think the board will do much harm with just about anyone they decide to bring over since it's going to be for less than three months. I don't see the situation getting any worse and with the relief of Rafa's departure among fans and players it might get us into a sugar rush.
  12. Did surprisingly well. Since I don't watch the reserves I haven't seen him play and this was his first full match I've ever watched. Made me want to see more of him not including my Fifa career game
  13. Well, he has a point that the booing is not helping, but it's hardly an excuse for some of the results. Most of the Chelsea fans genuinely hate him and if he wanted to be more tolerated by them he should have done much better job.
  14. He is just another proof that unpopular manager appointments never work. Unlike some fans here I don't hate the guy and I must say that I treated him quite fairly. The reason I want him out is not because of something he said 4-5 years ago or some silly agenda on my part, it's because for the 3 months in charge he didn't achieve the results suited for a big club like Chelsea, he managed badly many matches which resulted dropped points and now we have to fight for something that we should have comfortably acquired - the top 4 spot.
  15. The first game in the league that we fail to win, unless we make a streak of 4-5 wins.
  16. He should consider himself lucky if he survives until the end of the season. Right now he looks like he is one bad result away from the sack.
  17. Boro were pretty crappy and we weren't particularly shining, but did enough to win the tie, resting our key players in the same time. Oscar and Ramires and later on Hazard did the necessary in attack to secure the goals, impressive debut by Ake, another bad one for Torres. Should be noted that this is the kind of team we should play in EL from now on.
  18. I think I can draw some positives from anything but a draw. Last thing our tired squad needs now is adding another meaningless match to their tough schedule. So, it's win it or bin it.
  19. Maybe we need to exit this competition (and probably EL too) asap in order to concentrate on the top 4 battle. Seeing how tired the team looked today made me think it's better to decrease the number of our games considering Arsenal will have only league games after Bayern thrash them in the rematch and Spurs have EL, where they face Inter and IMO will get knocked out and will push for top 4 with all their strength as well.
  20. You know I have the bad feeling that under his guidance we will fail even reaching top 4. Maybe it's time for Roman to play the "Sack the manager" power boost once more this season.
  21. Not finishing 3rd would be embarrassing enough, can't imagine if we fail to reach the top 4. I hope the team picks up some form because the threat is getting bigger.
  22. A match we simply must not lose at all cost. ------------ Cech------- Ivan - Terry - Luiz - Cole ------ Mikel - Lamps -------- Oscar --- Mata --- Hazard ----------- Ba However I have the feeling JT is going to be benched again. In that case I'd move Ivanovic to the centre and put Azpilicueta in his place.
  23. LOL! Not the most intelligent City fans out there.
  24. Agreed on everything said about Arsenal. Also I expect Spurs to enter their usual spring freefall in near future and even Bale won't be able to save them anymore.
