I feel like bursting into tears right now. Sacking the manager who brought us our greatest achievement after his first bad run? FFS we were the league leaders less than a month ago. Robbie is a Chelsea legend and probably the only manager after Mou who I think had that special connection with the fans. I wish him all the best and hopefully he will find another team who treats him with more respect.

In: Radamel Falcao, please. Villa is a bit too old, I haven't watched him that much after he returned from the year long injury, but I believe he is far from his top form.

Don't feel obligated to read my posts if they annoy you so much.

As I said nobody deserves abuse and I hate it when one of our players gets this kind of treatment from our fans. IMO both Sturridge and Nando should be treated with more respect and no childish insults, just constructive criticism.
-
I am not going to hide the fact that Sturridge is probably my least likeable blue. That being said, while he is a Chelsea player he deserves our support and I would never resort to insults or name calling (unless it's in front of the TV in the heat of the moment ). For those of you who are puzzled why Torres is more supported in general I'm going to ask you this: Who would a normal person tolerate more: a world class striker who has lost his way and is going through a rough patch or a young attacker, who is widely thought as overrated and also many consider to be too selfish?.

Well, it is your right to be happy with him after the WBA game. I personally, after him missing at least 4 clear chances, am not

Easily our best player. Everytime he doesn't play our attack looks fruitless. The best playmaker in the EPL and whoever puts him on par with Kagawa and Cazorla should get himself tested.
-
My avatar has nothing to do with my comment. Some people would rather compliment Sturridge on his courage to shoot and there is nothing wrong with that as long as he remembers he is not playing alone in attack which most of the time he doesn't.
-
When I see him with the ball I feel like punching him in the face, knowing he'd most surely take a wasteful shot, destroying our attack.
-
I think after today I will also be joining the Falcao bandwagon. January can't get here soon enough.
-
After such bitterly disappointing game I don't really feel like defending Nando right now. He was completely anonymous, dominated by the defenders when in possession of the ball and I don't recall seeing him having a shot towards the goal. One can only hope at least he can get his link up play in tact for the Juve game.
-
I am really disappointed like all of you. Nando was anonymous, had and awful game and I feel I can't defend him for much longer, Sturridge missed so many chances and had me swearing at him in front of my tv and finally with the absence of JT our defence is falling apart and I can't believe we let those goals. I am starting to get the feeling we won't be finishing any higher than 3rd place this season.

It's annoying because since he arrived last year in January up until the end of the AVB spell his situation was really tragic. However ever since Robbie stepped in he has improved significantly and I dare to say he has done okay, scoring regularly. I'm not saying there is no room for improvement, there obviously is and it is a big one until he becomes the player we paid 50mln for. What upsets me is that it appears that our fans are oblivious to his improvement and they have probably developed a habit of bashing and blaming him to the point it feels they are not watching our matches and are just going to the forums and post "Torres sucks, new striker please".

Moses definitely made my evening just as thoughts of having to watch my favourite team on thursday evening started to fill my head. Expected an easier match than the one in Donetsk but that wasn't the case, in fact we were quite lucky to get away with that victory. Ramires was off his usually high standards, Cahill and especially Luiz made a bit too much mistakes, but Betrand was our worst player last night as he was totally raped by Willian and was caught out of his position way too often leaving huge spaces for the curly afroman. Nando and Oscar had good first half both taking advantage of Shakhtar keeper's brain fades, but were a bit lost on the pitch after the break. Otherwise things are looking good, a draw in Turin and we are past the group.
-
Give the guy a break, he scored yesterday and has a fair share of goals under his name so far this season. Have you ever thought of giving him some support instead of bashing (which recently is really uncalled for IMO), just look at our fans last night chanting his name.
-
As I said, I agree there is still huge room for improvement in order for Nando to be the player we expect him to be. I just expressed my disappointment that he doesn't get enough support from our fans and you for example, judging from your post you chose not to give him credit for his good start of the season and decided to slate him for his last 3 matches instead (not counting the Spurs tie because he played well IMO and was very unlucky not to score).
-
Okay fair enough, but we're just two months into the season and he had a decent start having already scored 6 goals. Problem is, after the international round up he had 3 not so great games and the bashing started all over again. Against Shakhtar and Swansea he wasn't the only one underperforming, but he appeared to get most of the blame by the fans. I am not saying I am perfectly happy with his performance, but seeing people screaming Torres out when he fails to score in a few games is annoying and ridiculous. He deserves at least to finish the season with us and then we can make a complete evaluation.
-
Most of you are unfair towards Nando. I agree his first year in the Bridge was dismal, but from April till now I actually believe he has done okay. It appears he is always the one who gets stick from our fans and the media when the entire team plays poorly. Sigh.. I guess that will never change. Ontopic: I can definitely see Malouda go and if someone new comes along it will be some striker, but it won't be anyone from the likes of Falcao.
-
It would be a nice signing IMO. I have the feeling the team shouldn't have offloaded both Meireles and Essien because now the options for the troublesome central midfield are even more limited. Not sure if the Lamps-Mikel partnership is going to improve but so far it raises some concerns. Fellaini is lately being used for more attacking positions but I believe he can also do a pretty good job with more defensive minded approach in the cenral midfield and provide some variery in that zone.

Has anybody gotten the shirt with Premier League or ECL sleeve badges? To those who have, I've heard they wear out pretty quickly, literally after just a couple of washes. Is it true? So far I've bought only clean shirts, without badges and/or player printings on the back.

I found a local website where I can buy the new home shirt for nearly half the price of the one in the megastore, so I thought they probably have some small defects or anything that cuts their price. Here are some pics: Maybe I am a bit too pedantic, but I don't think that adidas logo in the down left (2nd picture) should be there and the position of the badge is a bit too low. Of course I could be just imagining things so I'll be very happy to have some piece of advice from someone who has already bought the shirt.
