Calmed down a bit now.

After all the shit we have had this season, we should be proud that we are European Champions and champions of the world.
Tuchels only been here 5 mins and our new owners haven't even started.
Chin up Chels brothers and sisters.
A new dawn for Chelsea approaches and it's looking pretty fucking good.
Plus atleast when you wake up in the morning you're not a scouser.

Shootouts are always a lottery. Waking up this morning, you appreciate the fact that this Chelsea team went up and matched this Liverpool team across 4 games this season. Can't fault the effort last night.
Liverpool are on their third 90+ points season in 4 years and have recruited well across the squad. We're squeezing the last out of Alonso (who did well), Azpi, had an injured midfield and clearly lack finishers.
We got overrun at the start of the game but when the team actually settled down and started passing through the midfield, they were able to break the Liverpool pressing with ease. Some good performances from James, Jorginho and Silva.
the work begins again now to try and catch Liverpool, City and for the first time in a long time, the manager's status is not in question. The last two months have been crazy for Tuchel so hope the man and his team can buckle down and focus on the recruitments, squad building over the summer.

One thing us for sure.. all of us are hurting... every single Chelsea fan but let's not forget that we should in all honesty be proud of reaching 3 FA Cup finals in a row. We won the CL last year. The Big One. I think TT has been magnificent since coming here. Yea, he has made a few mistakes here and there but he has us right up there slugging with 2 of the best if no THE teams in Europe, City and Liverpool. If we get our recruitment right under this new ownership, we could see us going toe to tow with these fuckers in the league too.

Chels reacted to Magic Lamps in Champions League Final 2021 - Man City 0-1 Chelsea
What a night. The game felt like ages since the moment we scored, I probably aged 10 years but the hours since have flown by. Will take another few days to totally sink . Would have loved to go through the bars and clubs with my friends like in 2012 but there is another place to celebrate and that is here. Will take an hour or two to read through your content and relive the moments...
Like the first one this CL win is gonna become a huge moment, personally for me. I wasn't born a Blue but I chose it early and committed for it with it for quite some time. My environmen thas not alwys reacted favourably to this choice.Esp earlier in high school i got quite a lot of stick for it. Chelsea is not exactly widely popular in Germany. But this only reiterated my affection. I was a bit of a rebel and outsider in school so I have always experienced our title wins as moments of personal triumph over group pressure and zeitgeist.
This CL win is very different from the last. The first is always special but to me what made it special is that there was a close nit veteran group of grown men, real characters heroes for me who scored hundreds of goals in years of near misses to finally crown their careers at the last chance against all odds. Momentous relief and joy but also the end of an era. For the club and the old guard whose incredible individual performance is even enhanced by the fact that we had a very basic managers and individual quality and character played a huge part in that victory. But it also was the end of an era as I graduated from highschool that years and left those resentful classmates and my hometown with a personal triumph.
This time it is the start of something new. A youthful side with their first title win for most and what a big one. It has taught me again that it does not always require big, grown men with bags of experience, the best players to win the biggest trophy. It is a team sport and the best team performance over 13 games wins this competition deservedly. In 2012 we deserved the win for the years of having the best group of players leading up to it. This year we deserve it because we were the best team and played like it for the whole campaign. A brilliant coach has formed us into a collective tactical machine. More than an individual effort but an organic improvement from within the team that finally got us to win the ultimate price together. To me this is the greatest, better than my country winning the World Cup.

Feeling pissed off and depressed about this to be honest. It's just painful to take even though Mourinho arguably had to go.

This is my Chelsea where real football fans watched the team through thin and even thinner. Now it's a haven for middle class tosspots and tourists who spend most of there time taking photos and frown if you swear or start singing. Absolute wankers the lot of them.

Like the look of that, very decent and set apart from the rest.
May I suggest that the new layout gives a respectful nod to tradition, make the new Lower West Stand seating in the form of endless rows of concrete benches (painted blue naturally) and offer a £1 transfer from the Shed Stand.

ere is a view from the shed end/East stand corner upper tier, looking towards the west stand. The players entrance is in the opposite corner. Notice also the very asymmetric slops to the upper tier of the west and north stands.

I understand people's frustrations, but making Mourinho solely culpable for the failings of the players is too convenient an excuse, in my opinion. He deserves his share of the blame but anyone calling for his head is making a severe over-reaction in my book. Okay, it is his job to set the team up and organise us tactically, etc., and to motivate the players, but the fact is we're still playing catch-up with everybody after our belated start to pre-season. I wholeheartedly believe we'll come good around Christmas and put a United-esque run together to get back into title contention. But with 93 points left to play for, I'm not worried just yet. Still a long time to go and we're just on a bad run. This is the fickle nature of football.
Ancelotti's second season was amongst the darkest days in Chelsea's recent history, and the root cause of our failings up until Mourinho's return (his failure to replace key members of the squad, i.e. Carvalho, Ballack, Joe Cole, as well as his inability to instigate a period of transition between Mourinho's first squad and an overhaul of younger players being his biggest fault). Be careful what you wish for.

Such an over the top reaction. Bottom line we won a game against nine men and it could have been a totally different outcome if Costa had been sent off.

And I'm with you all the way. I just find it more difficult to take it tho.
Im a soft git tho cause I dont mind freezing me yarbles off on a cold monday night in Stoke (sneaking in a flask and a mobile vaporizor soon warms you up), getting a shower of beer at half time, taking the piss out of the local residents wherever we go. And like you I couldnt be more grateful for Uncle Roman tho Id love to have been there in our basic days.
But to think the govt can bale out the Irons when we cant even get land to build on with no help pisses me right off.
