I still can't believe AVB was sacked, yet to this day! Di Matteo has worked a few miracles since taking over but honestly do you think he will replace the likes of Kalou, Bosingwa, Drogba etc? AVB was the right man for the job because he wanted to CHANGE the team, the philosophy and the way the club was run. He wanted to build his own side, not a side Roman wanted but his own side, with his own players. The likes of Romeu, Courtois, Lukaku and Mata where his own signings... De Bruyne could of been but I'm unsure. He would of definitely brought the likes of Hulk and Moutinho in easily but the negotiations with Porto would have been long and they would of ripped us off just because it was Villas-Boas himself. AVB won't come back though, he is going to be Roma's coach next year and probably try and continue Luis Enrique's work there.

True but I think all three are still possible. Atletico was a step up from Porto for Falcao so maybe he will see Chelsea as a step up in his career again if we were to offer for him. Moutinho and Hulk would definitely move I think just a matter of us offering for them.

Torres is basically a cult hero for Atletico Madrid isn't he? So we could pull it off trading him for Falcao and if we are going to get Falcao we might as well get Hulk and Moutinho, they have an incredible understanding, notably Hulk and Falcao obviously. I said this last summer and I will repeat it, we NEED to sign this guy and he said if a big club offered for him he WOULD move!!! He is basically capable of playing as a deep lying playmaker, higher up in advanced positions and even left and right midfield as he has before at Sporting. Even though he plays in the Portuguese league, he is one of the major stand out players in the Porto squad along with Hulk and James Rodriguez. He may cost about 25 million but I think it is worth it, it will be a good investment as he has his best years ahead of him as he hasn't peaked yet and he has good technique. I'd say he is kind of like Xavi with his footballing intelligence and technique.

Marin has suffered since Ozil left Bremen. So maybe Mata and Marin could form a similar partnership and possibly with another winger in the attacking 3 of a 4-2-3-1 I'm sure we'd be fine. Anyway I don't think Juan will play against Blackburn so he is 100 percent for the CL!!

Johnson isn't the greatest option out there, he is vastly overrated because he plays for City imo. Would take Victor Moses or Scott Sinclair(doubt we'd get him back anyway) ahead of him any day.
