If we are going to sign another wide/ attacking midfielder it will either be between Hazard and Hulk so I don't think we will see him in Chelsea colors... despite Hulk and Hazard potentially costing 35-50 million each.

We cant sell Kalou and Bosingwa because they are out of contract this year. We won't get much for Malouda and Yossi either, maybe like 5 million a piece. Plus Javi Martinez and Yann M'Vila are both defensive midfielders which is not what we need. Joao Moutinho won't leave for anything under 36.5 million euros which is his release clause and Porto have stood firm on that when we wanted him in the summer so we won't give him and known us we won't get Witsel or Modric either. Maybe Cabaye would move but hes only one year in to his Newcastle contract and they are more likely to get CL football than us unless we go and win every game remaining. Paying 60-70 million for two players is insane as well, yes we payed 71 million for David Luiz and Torres but look where the bulk of that went. We will need to spend wisely, maybe 60-70 million on like 5 or 6 players if we are to stay within the FFP rules as well. Imo the summer is going to be mad because we haven't even got a manager yet and if we appoint someone it will probably be at the same time as AVB.... if it isn't Di Matteo that is.

I find it hilarious how people are saying we should sign Hulk and Moutinho from Porto... they will cost us about 70+ million for the two of them which is shit business... haven't we given Porto enough fucking money in the Roman era, they are probably still pissing themselves at the 15 million we gave them for AVB. Plus we need to make more signings like this guy, talented players who are CHEAP and if they don't turn out good we haven't wasted 20-30 million on them. I am excited to see this guy in our colors, he seems to be good and will play on the left so Mata gets to play in the more central position in the attacking 3. Hope he proves to be a class buy! Was surprised when this deal was confirmed too, for once nobody knew until it was confirmed.. that is how it should be done!

They have a buyback clause in Rodrigo though and they did the same with Pablo Sarabia or whatever he was called. Was one of their biggest prospects and they let him move including a buyback.

Going to be a great experience for Thibaut to be involved in a European final, its just a pity I think Bilbao will win. They are much more structured and disciplined than Atletico and they have an awesome front free in Muniain, Llorente and Susaeta. Atletico haven't got a bad front line either in Turan Falcao and Adrian but still I think Bilbao's pressing and the way they use the ball will give them a huge advantage. Should be great to see though!

Hes leaving some era behind him but I reckon he will be taking a 2 year break minimum, in fact after a record like that why would you even manage another club.. won more trophies in 4 years than some managers have won in their whole career. Anyway for Barca's new manager, I think either Bielsa or Villas-Boas will get the job tbh, both rated really highly by the Barcelona. Tito Vilanova might get it but I don't think he will be the most obvious choice tbh, just like Guardiola was appointed after they listened to and rejected Jose Mourinho for the fact he thinks he is the main man basically! If AVB gets it, I bet he will show Roman exactly what he could of done, with that squad and his philosophy (which is basically the same as Peps), I think he will be fairly successful there, same with Bielsa if he were to go. Imagine if he went there and signed Muniain, Javi Martinez etc... squad would be even better then... and some of the younger players they have there like Thiago, Rafinha, Montoya, Tello, Defouelu, Cuenca, Muneisa, Sergio Roberto etc, I think they could be really successful again in a few years.. well maybe.
