  1. Bakayooko. 40 million pounds. Forty. Million. Pounds. Get him fucking off. Totally unaware of everything that seems to be going on around him. Just walking about like a tube. Whole team playing bad but my god, 40 fucking mil.
  2. More dynamic RWs? Like Martial? Who is a left winger/striker? I'd take a gamble on Martial like I've said before but he is still a risk, we need more attackers in the squad in those wide/10 positions because well Eden, Willian, Pedro and Barkley who can play those attacking MF positions, they are all different sorts of players but in terms of depth its not much as we've seen this season and even last season when we've been chasing games. Throw Martial in that selection, its a boost for us, considering his talent and age but I don't get why so many people are so thrown on throwing out one of our better players to a main rival in return for somebody who hasn't really done as well as what it would seem that people are making out.. Did nobody seen Arsenal over the years do that and become a laughing stock? And last summer was bad enough with losing Matic and Costa. I don't get it. Pedro maybe he might be someone who could go but if we get Sarri and he gets the sort of football he does at Napoli then Pedro will be useful because that sort of quick pass and move third man running shit in attacking situations is what he was very good at when he played at Barca. I mean Sarri has even made Callejon look a pretty decent footballer so its not impossible that if he was appointed that he could rejuvenate Pedro's performance level in comparison to what we've seen this season. Leon Bailey is another player I really like and would take him here, think there is more chance of him coming than Martial in all honesty.
  3. True he lacks that killer instinct but that is gained through playing regularly and through taking chances along with training. He does get the chances, he manages to find himself in good positions a lot, which for me shows he is more than good enough, he just has to stick them away, its a shame hes only managed the 1 goal this year because although some of his performances have been dodgy some of them have not been. I think its just been a tough season. If we sell after one season, who would we replace him with? People keep mentioning Cavani but it wont happen. Griezmann? Wont happen. Bring Batshuayi back to be first choice? Wont happen. It was a big spend on Morata and I think he'll be a lot better next season but if he goes who do we actually sign to replace him? Not many strikers out there that are attainable at the sort of level everyone assumed Morata was last summer. Icardi maybe but honestly he will cost 80-100M easily. Who says he'd even want to play here?
  4. Still not convinced hes top level. One month where he has scored 4 goals does not make up for the other months where he has been pretty average and shown a lack of end product (surprise surprise big issue years ago still is now). Good option off the bench maybe to change a game up but again, like Adama Traore, average player.
  5. In terms of where most people on here want the club to go, with a vibrant playing style and a less defensive minded manager, to get rid of Morata would be insane. Like you said if you cannot see his talent, you are blind. This season will help his development and pre-season he'll come back and be a different player for this bad experience. Just like his first quarter of the season at Juventus where he struggled to get a lot of minutes or any solid sort of form he eventually came good from it and I wouldnt be surprised if the same was to happen here. To have scored 20+ goals for Madrid as a sub more or less last season is an impressive return, he has got the right attributes to succeed here and was doing so in the first half of the season.
  6. Second half has been atrocious footballing wise for Huddersfield, Jamie Redknapp basically said we played anti football vs Man City but this is worse.
  7. Obviously not but moments like that are infuriating as fuck.
  8. Eden had a chance he wandered into the box but tried to pass it to Morata, WHY NOT JUST FUCKING SHOOT YOU ARE LIKE 15 YARDS OUT. Also wtaf how nothing has gone in there, no clue.
  9. 52.8M rated? I was hoping we'd go 30-40m tops but 52.8m is a joke for somebody who has one year left on his deal regardless of how old he is and how much potential he has, considering he has struggled to show any sort of real consistency in the last 2 seasons. Never even mind throwing Willian in, 52.8M plus Willian would be utterly ridiuclous.
  10. Cesc and Azpi top marks. What a ball in, even if it was a freak goal, was an exceptional cross.
  11. Its been a recurring theme all season, needless backheels giving away possession along with pointless short corners which drive me up the fucking wall. Also Pedro running back towards his own goal every time he receives the ball? Wtaf. Not sure why Conte changed a winning team this much, fair enough fatigue from 2 or 3 games in quick succession but not that many changes was necessary.
  12. If Ross Barkley cant get a start against this mob, when Conte has clearly rotated the side, then what is the point of him being signed? Another pointless deal by the looks of it.
  13. Nobody wants him to leave but the longer he keeps coming out with these sort of quotes but still hasn’t entered negotiations or signed a new contract it doesn’t look entirely convincing does it? Same with Courtois.
  14. Honestly not convinced he’s elite one bit. In a team who will have the ball most matches, I can’t see a place for somebody who’s main strengths is more or less being an outlet in a counter attacking team except perhaps playing him as a wing back but it looks nailed on Conte is off and likely that Sarri, who prefers a back 4, will take his place. Also he played in the PL and struggled a lot, fair enough he’s played more since then but a player who plays for Middlesborough won’t make the jump to Chelsea overnight and it would be a wrong move for both parties in my opinion.
  15. Perhaps but I have known about Neves since he broke through at Porto and he will be an unbelievable MF player if he keeps playing regularly in the next few years. Sessengon is 17 and has scored between 10-15 goals as a LB/LW. I don’t think we have many 17 year olds as good as him. And if we don’t get him somebody else will and we will wondering why we didn’t go for him 3 or 4 years down the line. RLC is still nowhere near proven enough at the top level (fitness is still very questionable for a professional as well) and will undoubtedly go on loan again as will Mount undoubtedly (Ajax are really keen and I think a season there in a better team than Vitesse playing every week at a club renowned for bringing on young players would be daft to ignore for him to play 5-10 games here over the case of a 40-50 game season). In the case of RLC he has played under how many managers here and two at palace and he still doesn’t have an actual settled position, he’s played as a CM/DM under Jose here, as a 10 under Jose.. as a second striker/inside forward under Conte, a CM under de Boer and a winger under Roy Hodgson. How somebody who nobody seems to know his actual best position is going to be a regular here next season is beyond me. Also 2 goals and 3 PL assists, let’s be reasonable. Hudson Odoi hopefully will break the mould and get a chance, he’s a top talent and has been doing well all season but again remains to be seen our record with youth is terrible.
  16. Sorry but Ryan Sessengon and Ruben Neves are the only players in that division we should seriously be looking at.
  17. Exactly. It’s probably worth mentioning as well Martial is a calculated gamble. He’s struggled for consistency for almost 2 seasons now in terms of his performances but has scored 10 goals every season since being in England. It’s not as straightforward to sell William and for Martial to come in and be better as many seem to think. Even bits of that season under van Gaal he was hit and miss so it’s not exactly only Mourinho related before it’s brought up. He has huge potential but it is only potential. Somethings not clicked properly (Sanchez signing didn’t help but affecting Rashford as well) or we wouldn’t be talking about signing him as he’d be in the United team and they’d not be willing to consider letting him go too easily. He would be a good signing if he was somewhere between 30-40m because of his age, potential but again Leon Bailey is another player I really like and if we get him or Martial they will be huge players for us in the future although Willian shouldn’t be sacrificed for either.
  18. 😂 yeah defo worth looking into it pal. It was a good pass but how can he pass like that but not play some simple ones or kick a football with his instep instead of trying to look like some flash bastard doing unnecessary outside of the foot passes which go to the opposite team time and time again? And again the two half chances he had with Giroud and Hazard for a 40m player to not be able to communicate not once but twice? It’s shocking. One proper game this season he’s looked a reasonable standard of footballer, maybe 2 if Spurs counts from start of season. He’s decent at shielding the ball sometimes but when it comes to using it?
  19. When he plays like that he’s great, like a lot of the guys he’s struggled for consistency this season but if we can get him to resign we should. Not a fan of the media circus always surrounding/mentioning him but you can’t say he is not a top class goalkeeper because he is. He’s only like 25 as well.
  20. Thought Alonso and Rudi were very solid today, Salah never really got to influence attacking situations for them until later when he started showing up more and more centrally. Giroud again showing what he can bring to the team too and not only that his attitude is top class, was dropping in to congest central areas when they had the ball in second half, held it up well when we went to go direct, honestly he’s made more of an impact than I assumed he would. Hazard had the bit between his teeth and was very good. Kante is Kante and his passing is becoming more and more progressive each week. CL hopes back on? Pressure is on for Spuds and Liverpool.
  21. I think today was one of his better performances this season, although he still looks well short, but I’ve never ever seen a profession footballer unnecessarily kick the ball with the outside of his foot so many times when he could have just done it with the inside of his foot. I mean he must have given it away about 10 times alone doing that. And I seen somewhere on here they gave him a 9/10 rating? Seriously?
  22. another right footer playing left back? no thanks. He'd be a good back up for sure and undoubtedly could hold his own but can't see him being happy to play every few weeks.
  23. Good prospect but if we go to a back 4 next season, Azpi will be an undoubted starter at RB so he'll be a rotation player more than anything for a while.
  24. Dont know why people are still gushing over the idea of giving another one of our better players to a direct rival. Even in return for Martial (talented or not has struggled for consistency at United this season and even last). Attacking depth is poor enough as it is never mind this 1 in 1 out shite, just a poor mentality, upgrade on Willian yes but Willi is better than Pedro and he can make a good impact as we've seen, I'd much rather Pedro went than Willian.
  25. If Monaco want him back like reported sell him to them for a loss of like 10m. No point worrying about a wee loss like 10m or that, hes on a long contract anyway so he'll get a good enough fee. Better to cut our losses before things go bad.
