  1. Haven't been following Chelsea much lately so thanks for that information! Jose's right in what he's saying IMO. As far as I'm concerned, giving the armband to a player who hasn't even played 3+ years at the club despite having good enough leaders in your squad already wouldn't be the right thing to do morally. In times where loyality in football/sports is getting more and more rare it speaks volumes to reward players who have earned their place in the locker room over a long period.
  2. As far as I know he has half a season at Chelsea under his belt already plus a pre-season. In neither did he show aynthing significant (or promising) to make the claim that he has the potential to be more than a squad player.
  3. Weird timing... you'd have to think that either he's got a lifetime opportunity on the table or that the club is forcing him out which would be stupid on our side considering, again, the timing of this news.
  4. As long as Mou is at the helm Fabregas is not going to be our captain anytime soon. Jose knows about Fabregas' history (most importantly, vs Chelsea).
  5. I don't really understand why we're having this debate over Salah's playing time after every single game. He gets his chances, and despite fitting our system (inbefore someone claims this is a Mata or KDB situation...) he doesn't take them; hence he's sitting on the bench. It's not rocket science. When he proves that hes's good enough to get regular playing time Mou will give him a fair chance to prove himself even more on a regular basis. Until then he's a mere squad player and rightly so.
  6. The fact that Drogba pulled off the Munich penalty is something special. Start again where you left...
  7. No more explanations needed, really. It's quite surprising people can overlook such obvious things. Missing the forest for the trees...
  8. Any chance that gif signatures are being removed? They're making the loading time go up drastically.
  9. Totally unnecessary and idiotic challenge in the middle of the pitch, ffs. The second he made that tackle he knew he'd get sent off.
  10. Man, Cahill's positioning was absolutely horrible. Picked it up a bit in the second half but the first one was bad.
  11. Technically there's no contract but some kind of "soft law" meaning you're refusing the highest honor in the life of a professional footballer.
  12. Personally, I don't like the St James' Park concept at all but if it's the only option to redevelop the Bridge then I hope our architects make something iconic and unique out of it.
  13. What an embarassement for a club of our magnitude... Turkish fucking Airlines. We're on the same level of sponsor's brand awareness and popularity as Liverpool.
  14. Lmao, the team's aware of his support... the players probably can name his date of birth, the day he learned to walk, his first and last name etc too.
  15. You shouldn't be typing posts from your armchair. Take your laptop and go to the Bridge, that's where real supporters post Chelsea stuff on the Internet.
  16. A banner with Cech's silhouette and next to it the number of clean sheets he kept for Chelsea would be most fitting IMO.
  17. If it's only a sprained ankle he should be okay in 4-6 weeks.
  18. You build a house, put in the effort of building it with your bare hands and sweat and work months on it. As soon as it's finished you take out our lighter, set it on fire and in no more than an hour everthing's gone. Is it really about the little flame that destroyed everything then? Hell no. So no, it's not about the 2 points he cost us. I never even mentioned that to begin with. Signing that contract is the thought of burning everything down that it's about. When he signed that contract he knew what possibilities that clause could make happen. Frank fucking Lampard, one of the most intelligent footballers in today's game, knew EVERYTHING that could happen when he went through that contract with his agent. He knew it. And yet he dared to say yesterday that he "didn't expect to come on and score". He's lying to millions of Chelsea fans out there with no hesitation. That's my problem. Two times he broke his promise and now that he knows what he has caused he's trying to lie his way out it. After everything that he has done for this club he shows his true colors and they ain't mighty blue ones. I do hope he regrets what he's done but going by Jamie Rednapp's comments I very much doubt it. As for the "sitting down" part, you should read my initial post again. Loyality ≠ professionalism.
  19. What does being a "top professional" have anything to do with being Chelsea's GOAT? I'm yet to see any argument in favor of that "top professional" statement I've come across dozens of times since yesterday, yet people talk about him being a top professional all the time. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather Lampard behaved like the biggest unprofessional ever in the game of football if it meant him bleeding blue, but he didn't. He [a] signed a contract that included a loan clause sending him to City, Chelsea's biggest title rivals in the PL, he came on the pitch vs Chelsea, and [c] then he scored vs Chelsea. So again I ask what's the correlation between being a top professional and Chelsea's GOAT? Doing a, b, and c is being a professional. Refusing to sign that contract as long as the clause is part of it, refusing to play and even threatening Pellegrini to score an own goal if he used him vs Chelsea, and sitting down on the pitch after being subbed on vs Chelsea is bleeding blue. Yes, Lampard is a top professional but we shall forget never that day he betrayed the Chelsea family, 21.09.2014.
  20. Reported every single one that's using insults as a response to stating an opinion.
  21. Hope all of you being fine with everything Lampard did today were chanting and applauding when his shot hit the back of the net. Proper Chelsea fans.
  22. Lampard's a football legend but a Chelsea legend he is not. Traitor.
  23. Where's the fucking idiots saying Lampard won't play vs Chelsea?
