  1. You're suggesting 2 part-time invalids and a striker version of Ramires. I'll leave it at this point.
  2. He's bleeding blue till death. What a player.
  3. Why isn't there Kurt's number before his name in the thread title? Edit: Cheers!
  4. Brilliant, another Willian. There's nothing we needed more desperately than another attacking player unable to score goals. Also, #74 has to be up there with the aesthetically most horrible numbers, smh. Should take #39 if he wants to wear a "special" number.
  5. Whoever wrote that is a proper Chels. I'd love for Mou and all the players to boycott every single interview and PC.
  6. True. But they won't be heard due to the other 70k shouting Pogba's name when he makes his debut.
  7. Watch Real fans go mad for a second and then be happy again when they announce that a transfer for Pogba or somebody has been completed.
  8. It feels good to have a bad motherfucker leading our front line.
  9. If you're ignoring the whole historical context, then yes, goals don't matter. However, due to Ronaldo and Messi's goal scoring achievements these last few years the criteria have shifted as we're witnessing two absolutely dominant goal scorers for the first time in over a decade when the real Ronaldo was around. And mind you, not even he scored a goal per game like Messi and CR are doing. When Zidane won in 1998 he was coming off a league title with Juventus and a WC win with France scoring crucial goals at crucial times (note: In 1998 there wasn't a single dominant goal scorer). In 2000 Zidane had just won the Euros with France, again putting his trademark on the whole tournament. And yet again there wasn't a player as dominant at goal scoring as CR and Ronaldo are. When he won it in 2003, Henry probably would have been more deserving (2004 even more so) but Zidane was playing in one of the best teams ever as the brain of that team which eventually gave him the nod over everybody else. As for Cannavaro winning the title in 2006, one could argue that he won mostly due to the lack of competition (and Italy's suprising WC, obviously). The next 4 in the votings that year (Zidane, Henry, Ronaldinho and Eto'o) all had either a disappointing season or a bad WC which effected them negatively. You're right in that sense that it's not just the goals that are the cause of Messi and CR winning all these awards but it's the goals that show just how good these two guys are.
  10. My French is non-existent so I had to use Google Translate but am I correct in saying that we are scouting Stade Rennais' match?
  11. I'm glad y'all had a great time. Watching football porn doesn't compare to studying for finals, though.
  12. Obviously Cahill starts. Anyone expected any different, really?
  13. The lack of Nightcrawler on the nominees list for the Academy Awards is disturbing.
  14. True though, he's dressing like a clown for these gala days. What's up his obsession with red/burgundy suits anyway?!
  15. Get back the "TC Legend" badge. And make sure WHS gets his one first.
  16. Thought so too. Luis was anything but good IMO, I remember him being beaten countless of times and not providing any better offense than Cesar (while also being unable to play a precise passes).
  17. Apparently, Yokohama sponsor the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos (aside from the already mentioned Cs and Spurs). Not too bad company to be in.
  18. They're not listed on Forbes' company ranking so their profit is still <$0.1 billion.
