If only Matić was available for West Ham midweek. With that Liverpool result and with an 8 point lead at stake I think we'd go in there and dominate them. It'll be much tougher without him.
-
Is there a more pointless and redundant footballer than Nasri? I swear that I can't even think of what he does exactly. No pace, doesn't score, rarely assists, can't dribble an opponent. Just strolls around the pitch with no urgency and is invisible 95% of the time.
-
Hopefully Liverpool don't crumble in the second half like I think they will. City will ramp it up knowing they need to win.
-
Our official Twitter account was tweeting the wrong hashtag. Rather than #ChelseaAtWembley they kept saying #ChelseaWembley. That, and they never even specifically asked for people to tweet out the official contest hashtag. It obviously wouldn't have been close if they had since we have literally 5x as many followers than they have.

We all know West Ham won't play like this on Wednesday.

Please no stripes on the kit... Make it as simple and minimalist as possible, Adidas. The Yokohama logo is pretty nice looking and won't ruin the shirt like Chevy on United's.
-
I have a feeling City will batter Liverpool. They look very poor here and will be knackered at the weekend.
-
All hail the Prophet, We Hate Scouse! Dat Pogba moneyyyyy!
-
We're probably going to be overrun in midfield in these two matches without him. At least we'll have him for the Saints match which is more than I expected. What horrible timing this incident is.
-
I like how he basically sprinted at players who had the ball in almost an arrogant "I know with certainty that I'm taking the ball from you" kind of way today. I audibly laughed a couple of times today.
-
True. I just hope that José doesn't think of Oscar as an untouchable. That no matter how poor and inconsistent he is there's no way he goes.If he has a subpar remainder of the season then we should be shopping him around.
-
Luiz wasn't even a guaranteed starter for us last season and didn't exactly have a fantastic season and they still paid a record price for him. They clearly like buying super marketable players and really wanted the Brazilian national team defensive partnership. Not outrageous to assume that they'd also be interested in Brazil's second best attacking player.
-
He's a player who is currently not good enough to be a nailed on starter for us but too good to be riding the bench. We need to find a buyer in the summer and upgrade. Best for both he and the club. He can go join his mates in Paris. I love the little guy, he's been one of my favorite players since he moved here, but it just isn't working. Flashes of brilliance every few matches but hasn't shown significant improvement in his time here and is far too inconsistent to be our #10.
-
If those two stonewall penalties were given as they should have been would people still be saying our attack was poor? We'd have been DESERVEDLY 3-0 up at the half. We were totally comfortable and created a boat load of chances. Fabregas and Oscar are getting stick and rightly so, but to suggest that we were to blame for not getting the 3 points today boggles my mind. It's as if some of you didn't watch the match.

If they beat Liverpool in their next match I'll be seriously, seriously worried.West Ham and Southampton were going to be battles WITH Matić. Without him...
-
Spanked Stoke last week and spanking Newcastle now.I said NOW hitting top form not have been in top form. Aguero now fit and two top players back from Africa.
-
City now hitting sparkling form while we'll be without our most important and irreplaceable player for two extremely tough PL matches. This really may be the weekend where the league is lost.
-
People saying we played like shit can fuck off, I'm sorry. We were dominating them. Both Cesc and Matić were pretty sloppy in midfield but other than that we were extremely dangerous and should've won with ease. Hazard was completely unstoppable. Costa came within inches at least twice that I remember from crosses and had a clear sight at goal where he struck it into the ground. Cuadrado had a nice attempt early with the header and Matić nearly scored from a set piece. And that's not even mentioning the 2 penalties that were not given. Yes, we weren't at our absolute best, but we played more than well enough to win with EASE. we created chance after chance and would surely have added a second had we kept 11 men on the pitch.
-
Literally the only thing that couldve gone worse is if we lost. What should have been an easy 3 points turned into a disaster. Now the one player we absolutely couldnt afford to lose is gone for 3 matches. Terrible, terrible day. We could be in trouble now.
-
My fucking goodness! TWO pens denied. As clear as you'll ever see TWICE! Filipe Luis has been sensational. Great chemistry and understanding already between Hazard and Cuadrado.
-
Scored the winner against Everton and assisted Hazard against Villa.
-
Willian has been fantastic lately...
-
Exact lineup I predicted and asked for a day or two ago. Let's smash 'em!
-
Why is it that some weekends the games start hours later than other weekends? It's pretty annoying.

When we sign Pogba in the summer José will never have to resort to playing Cesc at #10. He clearly doesn't trust Oscar at all in the biggest matches and even he MUST see that Cesc isn't effective at all in our setup in an advanced position. It strips him of his best skills and attributes. We need a top class box to box player who not only has legs to get around the pitch, but is also a threat going forward. We need to sell one of Oscar, Mikel, or Ramires and sign Pogba or someone of his ilk. 4-3-3: Hazard---------------Costa----------------Cuadrado/Willian ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------Pogba------------------------------------- ------------Fabregas------------Matić---------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Azpi/Luis----------Terry----------Zouma----------Ivanovic ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------Courtois---------------------------------- No way can anyone say that we can't afford Pogba, either. If we win the league we'll get a huge payday, we'll have huge TV money coming in, CL money, and that new TV deal will kick into effect in a couple of seasons. We can afford one massive splurge this summer.
