Hell yeah, bring him 'ere already! Jose can't wait to throw Stones at Wenger
-
Your choice, but I do care about every point we play for, and every bad story media unleashes has a potential to take some points away from us.In the last couple of years Mourinho produced 2 great players in Varane and Zouma and comparing that to Wenger, Jose beats him there. Same for Real Madrid and City. I still agree Jose isn't youngsters dream, but I find the story of Chelsea and Jose being bad for young players a simple media spinoff.
-
Wow I'm amazed how some of you are short sighted. The 10 min assessment talk wasn't about young player only getting 10min to show Jose what he can do, but to point out that young players need to leave their heart on the pitch in those minutes and show they are not afraid. Young players have all the training sessions to show the hunger, quality and desire to the coaches. Have you seen Zouma tremble in some of the big games he had to play? Have you seen him stand in place like a superstar after making a mistake or was he the first player to sprint back all the way to our goal to fix his mistake? And yes our youth record is bad, but it's just a media stereotype that we're destroying young players compared to other teams. Look at Manchester youth players who are world class today. Didn't see them? Because there ain't any. Same with Arsenal also. Gibbs is 26 and is an average defender. Ramsey has struggled with fitness and had been inconsistent for some time. Wilshere and Walcott also. Voyeur hadn't actually produced a world class player from the incredible youth system for some time. And United? Silva brothers? Evans? Smalling? Yeah right...

Lol at this forum and the strange love for blonde Germans made of glass
-
He should return to Spain or maybe go to Juve, Manu isn't for him. I still love the lad and I'm sad to see his career go down such a mediocre path.
-
I completely disagree. The worst move was Torres by the way. Luis was a great deal because we replaced Cole with one of the best fullbacks in the world who was there when it mattered and had Azpi gotten injured, Filipe would've replaced him well. Sadly for him Azpi was a machine, but we were always covered well on the left because of him. All in all, we spent a few millions for a fake loan of one of the best fullbacks in the world who also settled well with Thibo and Diego, and to me it was a decent deal.

I really don't look forward to it as he will transform any rival of ours into a much better team. I hope he goes to Bayern and they ditch Gotze to PL. And that aside, I couldn't stand media praising his amazing stats and attack Jose at how he sold him and didn't give him a proper chance.
-
There is something different with him this season. He seems so full of confidence it's amazing. After Moses, he's our best player in pre season for me and I really hope he delivers. If he does, we have much bigger chances to retain the title and win CL.
-
Left me surprised. Had a great pre season and earned a go, and I'd keep him rather then Cuadrado. What's with the injury he sustained?
-
City should sign Gotze instead of De Bruyne and we can hopefully avoid media wanking over how good De Bruyne is and how wrong we were to sell him...sadly I think that's exactly what are we going to be eating a whole season.
-
No, you got it all wrong mate, we'll buy out Benitez and bring him as interim manager to take care of Jose's mess [emoji38]

This thread should be renamed to The Loan Project
-
I really hope we're held down by waiting for Salah and Cuadrado to leave, and similar with Mikel. Something is just strange, we're barely linked with anybody except Stones and Rahman... So painful to see others bring players while we stagnate, our squad doesn't have needed squad depth at all for what are the goals for the coming season. Yes we have a good squad but we will will succumb to the fierce tempo of PL, no winter break and constant pressure we will be on. Looks like it's going to be 2011/2012 all over again... Damn.
-
I have been left under impression that lots of people here believe Zouma has bad passing and technique, and it surprised me. For example, look at the cross he sent as a LB against Arsenal? Best cross throughout the whole pre season. Pure technique and skill to send a ball like that. And usually, he can pick some very good forward passes as a CB. The way he kicks the ball also seems fine to me, rather then clumsy or anything as some make it out to be. Anybody feeling the same?
-
Hell no! Please Baba, get your arse here already
-
Maybe they would because of loyal service and stuff
-
Better then the current left back we have. Oh wait we don't have a left back xD I still hope we get Baba though, obviously the club is looking at other players and alternatives and Rose is among them.
-
Pass for Hazard was quality and pass for Falcao was brilliant. If he's going to have the best season in his career, then the one coming is the perfect one for that.
-
If anybody calls you stupid or ignorant for a well written and argumented post, they by all means they are the ones who are ignorant. That said, I disagree with you and I feel Azpi is our best fullback. As for offensive contribution, I don't judge him considering he's a right footed player playing a left back. But I do agree that our fullbacks alter our game, and we see a decent cross from them every 5 games which is more then awful and alarming.
-
First sentence from that article tells everything. Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side look well set to defend their Premier League crown but the Portuguese evidently still wants to strengthen in certain areas. If we are all set to defend our title then Varane is really available for 19m. Sadly we're not.
-
First I doubt Martinez would let Stones go until they find a replacement, which means more waiting. Second, we can't simply pay what they want because the moment we do that, all other teams will start milking money out of us. I don't think we gave up, it's more mind games to pick the headlines and turn Stones' head towards us.
-
Exactly, how many times? We needs to see Falcao bunch of times to think anything, but I stand by what I said, I feel Falcao is ready to sacrifice anything just to score a goal when he's on the pitch while Torres lacked the cojones most of the time.
-
There is a buzz around Falcao I see that I've rarely seen with Torres when he was here. For example, when Zouma made the cross that Oscar headed, Falcao throw himself with his head towards the ground in an instant, not caring about defenders legs or anything. It's a little detail, but it shows you Radamel lives for goals, no matter from which position. I've never seen Torres do anything similar for all his painful games here. And compare that kind of a split second decision to Torres and how he used to run away from goal all the time. How many times how you seen Falcao on wing against Arsenal? Not once, he was running and running at defenders non stop. Had we sent at least 3 decent crosses, he could've easily scored.
-
Well there is a great positive from Arsenal game, Mourinho will be pissed and we may finally see some more serious moves being done from the club.
