I agree completely. Branding him a money cunt definitely worked because wherever I'm near word Sterling on Internet, words "money grabbing cunt" are very close. I'm not saying he is that, or isn't, but majority of people are convinced he is even though they have no evidence of either. I know I would do precisely do the same if I was in his shoes. If I had no real feelings for the club, I'd leave a sinking ship like Liverpool is. It would never be about the money but simply about my career.

Man fuck this shit transfer window when there are no Hulk rumors...
-
Just a temp signing for him, if he had fitness issues and when he faces tough tempo of PL clubs, he'll last them a season or two. Still he improves their squad a lot.
-
Just a question, Wouldn't Sterling be a "money grabbing cunt" if he wanted to leave and Liverpool offered him 100k and he decided to STAY? By refusing more money it shows he simply wanted to leave and that it wasn't about a new contract. Liverpool are acting like kids and are asking ridiculous sums of money. It's ironic. I remember when Rooney wanted to leave 2 times but was convinced with a new contract with much bigger wage than his previous one and their fans silently brushed it under the carpet. Underlying concept is simple, - I don't like this project and would rather be elsewhere * don't worry we'll be better, here have more money - ok I like it now more

I'm really happy we've signing him. Finally we'll have a quality backup since Cudicini (last season was an anomaly). I don't think we could've made a better transfer for our GK position.
-
Great transfer for them if true. Sad they are bringing a quality midfielder, I enjoyed watching Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher, Herrera, Cleverly and Blind so far ;D Bastian is quality, but I wonder how is his fitness and is he past it? Hopefully yes if he's signing with them. I'd really like us to sign him though.

Nobody seems to mention how delusional Liverpool are in general and how much they will try to make Sterling a money grabbing cunt instead of people to realize that world class players (and potential ones) just don't see themselves at Liverpool. I'm not saying that the current situation is only what I mentioned but surely they are trying as hard as they can to mask their unattractivnes?
-
Well now that you mention it... He did But at least we had faith in our fans at first, we waited some time until we noticed people were joking a out his name. Tottenham did it straight away... Joking, I just found it funny because I was actualy wondering how to pronounce his name too
-
Something about his smile. Seems honest and fair. I like him.
-
Need definitely moving, let's just hope someone doesn't hijack the deal (99% won't but still). Begovic is one of those footballers I really like for no reason and I'm very very happy he's joining us.

Thanks for support Frank! http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/petr-cech-transfer-has-pushed-arsenal-into-the-title-running-says-chelsea-legend-frank-lampard-10377233.html Duh... [emoji19]

Haha makes sense now. Dunno why I thought of Los Angeles first xDI hope they at least put a proper kit.
-
I was hoping to see him back here this season, but it would be a good loan, the way Stoke play he will have a lot of work.

Great article on Mourinho and Wenger, sorry if posted already, I'm on my phone. http://www.chelsea-news.co/why-cant-wenger-compete-with-the-special-one/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

No kebabs for Diego. Boy he's going to be pissed when UEFA stage the draw so we face Barca (as usual).
-
What? Why? How? XD Why is there an LA cover?
-
Incredible how tastes vary. I actually really really liked the two kits you mentioned, I don't like the the home kit now, and finally I like the second and third kit but it seems most of others don't
-
United may go for him, but I'd expect them to go for Lloris.
-
It's obvious that the Liverpool project is not really promising and I can understand him wanting to leave. I think it's also Liverpool's fault for slapping 50m price on him nobody will pay. Nobody's pays that he's stuck in their team for another season, so I can understand him trying to make a statement to their board.
-
They even made a video of Toby pronouncing his name because of the average Spurs fan IQ being equal to average temperature outside...
-
Hopefully they reveal at least 1 new player with the shirt Seeing someone like Griezmann in the next home shirt would definitely make me like it
-
I would prefer if it looked just like on this picture. Dark blue with our players putting war colors before each game, JT, Ivanovic and Costa to lead the team out on the pitch. I still don't like the home shirt. Hopefully it will grow on me. It was similar with 2010/2011 home shirt which I hated at first, then started to like later on.

Haha damn right Jokes aside I'm seeing more and more of this football superstar stuff with incredible haircuts and tattoos. As someone who remembers guys like Figo, Makelele, Ballack, Crespo, Henry, J. Cole, Bergkamp, Zidane it actually hurts me too see these sleek tattooed guys who seem to be thinking first of their appearance rather then football. Still this is not a thread for haircut discussion, so if you wish to continue it, quote me on some other thread Aw yeah, I have a very short buzz cut and I'm proud of it. Barely needs any cleaning and maintenance though my cueball needs to be covered with a Chelsea hat when it's cold outside though I generally am rarely cold

Not worth 50m for me, and honestly I can't stand Madrid, Barcelona, presidential elections and Perez anymore. They can fuck off.But yes, they have no big reason to sell sadly.
-
From a financial side you are right, we can get a good number for him now. On the other hand, he's a superior player to me and I'd rather have him than Moses. Salah can especially be useful in games when we are paying counter attacking football as he's one of the fastest players in the world at this moment. Damn but besides Isco, Reus and Griezmann I can't really see any interesting players for us in attacking positions...
