Awful transfer window in general considering players who are available to sign. In the previous few years you had players like: Falcao, Cavani, Pastore, Neymar, Hazard, Willian, Costa, Cabaye, Moutinho, Hulk, Neuer, James Rodriguez, Modric, Javi Martinez, Benatia, Bale, Sanchez, Fabregas, Gotze, Lewandowski, Hummels, Subotic, Gundogan ... who were ready to move to a new club and we're either on top of their game or had the potential to be among the best in the world. This year, barely any hot player to try and pursue. Not even Pogba wants to move, and even though Pedro is an awesome player, he is 28 and isn't in this pot with other superstars. Only 3 that I find interesting for us are Koke, Griezmann and Reus, and it seems neither is even thinking of leaving their clubs. Anyone agree?

What's really annoying with the whole Everton stance is not that they are refusing to sell one of their most important players which is completely fine by me, but the fact that they (Martinez mostly) are trying to make us look like we are literally stealing Stones from them, without paying anything, while in fact we were ready to pay 37m fucking pounds for a 21y old who has barely spent time in PL! Thing is signing Pogba really is complicated thing because of his superstar status, big wage demands, marketing deals and a very vocal and hard agent,and naturally it will take some time for negotiations to reach an agreeable state. Media are naturally trying to get as much attention as possible from the situation and I've seen like same source/sentence quoted in the last e days from various places. Of course we can sign him! This. For me all our current midfielders are for 3 man midfield except Matic who can handle the 2 man midfield. Fabregas is way to weak in defense, Ramires is too limited with the ball and passing, Mikel is too defensively oriented and RLC will find it easier to play with 2 more players close to him.
