If anybody calls you stupid or ignorant for a well written and argumented post, they by all means they are the ones who are ignorant. That said, I disagree with you and I feel Azpi is our best fullback. As for offensive contribution, I don't judge him considering he's a right footed player playing a left back. But I do agree that our fullbacks alter our game, and we see a decent cross from them every 5 games which is more then awful and alarming.

First sentence from that article tells everything. Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side look well set to defend their Premier League crown but the Portuguese evidently still wants to strengthen in certain areas. If we are all set to defend our title then Varane is really available for 19m. Sadly we're not.

First I doubt Martinez would let Stones go until they find a replacement, which means more waiting. Second, we can't simply pay what they want because the moment we do that, all other teams will start milking money out of us. I don't think we gave up, it's more mind games to pick the headlines and turn Stones' head towards us.

Exactly, how many times? We needs to see Falcao bunch of times to think anything, but I stand by what I said, I feel Falcao is ready to sacrifice anything just to score a goal when he's on the pitch while Torres lacked the cojones most of the time.
-
There is a buzz around Falcao I see that I've rarely seen with Torres when he was here. For example, when Zouma made the cross that Oscar headed, Falcao throw himself with his head towards the ground in an instant, not caring about defenders legs or anything. It's a little detail, but it shows you Radamel lives for goals, no matter from which position. I've never seen Torres do anything similar for all his painful games here. And compare that kind of a split second decision to Torres and how he used to run away from goal all the time. How many times how you seen Falcao on wing against Arsenal? Not once, he was running and running at defenders non stop. Had we sent at least 3 decent crosses, he could've easily scored.

Well there is a great positive from Arsenal game, Mourinho will be pissed and we may finally see some more serious moves being done from the club.
-
He got cought in offside a bunch of times. It shows how much Arsenal defense was good and how much his form is yet to be built. Needs to do much better if he's to convince Jose not to spend majority of time next to Cuadrado bench when Costa is not on the pitch. Falcao was much better when he came on, fought like a fucking tiger.
-
He had a great 1st half compared to our players, he was pretty good in 2nd also, but I really hate when he's on the right wing, has the ball at his feet, and just dances around it for 15secs while the opposition defender just looks Our MOTM for me (tough one with Courtois).
-
He was awesome for me actually. You can not give him much stick because Falcao is a player who needs chances, and we were completely outclassed by Arsenal defense today, especially 1st half. I can't remember recently seeing a player with the kind of movement Falcao has, brilliant stuff. I definitely feel more relaxed now with him around when Costa is not fit. He looks awesome in our shirt.

Just watched it, I'm disappointed. It was obvious our squad needs new additions, and you could see how much Jose had faith in Cuadrado when it really mattered, while Zouma had to play a LB. Hazard was absent, Willian had a decent first half, Remy was drunk or something. I feel it was a equal game, except Arsenal were really good defansively (guess Petr brought confidence) and we haven't used our chances (Ramires, Hazard and Oscar fk). Had we scored one, I feel we would've won it. One positive for me is Falcao, he seems very sharp, ready and his movement is great. Sadly there was barely anything for him today, but I'm really optimistic about him, especially now with Costa's fitness problems.

Pep's team selection is like when you alter some things for a team in PES database, and suddenly the default starting 11 goes wild, your GK is a striker, RB is a AMF, CB is a LW etc
-
While I agree that TermX goes full sayian on numbers in football , I have to agree that seeing Cuadrado take number 11 even though he fails to hold the ball at his feet for the exact same amount of seconds, it dumb, strange and disappointing. I hope he succeeds with us, but I will be very angry if he fails to deliver, and our season suffers because of that.
-
He probably waltzed in and asked for it [emoji41]
-
I'm secretly hoping Jose asked Diego to fake the injury so the Voyeur didn't know who's going to lead our attack. That's something I would do anyway.
-
Damn imagine the clash of Madrid and Chelsea in the CL, that would be a show to remember between Jose and FSW
-
Yeah but I'm not thinking short term. And besides, first we have to sort out Kenedy and Traore, see if we are going to sell Cuadrado and what will happen with Moses. That's from business angle. From a fan's angle, I don't have faith in going into season with Moses, Cuadrado and Traore when you look at our objectives. Three of them are good, but neither inspires confidence, and I would rather to have Callejon along.

Just the simple case of people not really giving any effort before posting. Tells you right away how much they know. I'm getting sick of these couch potatoes who play Fifa Ultimate Team and think the real life football is only influenced by 6 stats each player has... And people around the world really need to stop comparing the prices of players. David Luiz was a player who won the Champions League and FA Cup, played for Benfica really nicely and was generally very important in our team. Yes we got a great deal, but he wasn't a 21y old footballer with 1 season of PL in his belt like Stones is. And as they are so fond of comparing players, 26m is actually a fair price for Stones comparing Luiz was a Champions League and FA Cup winner, established Brazil international and at the peak of his career. Fuckers, I really hope we snatch Stones from them and he turns out well for us, just so we can annoy Everton and Manu.

Just found this gem (sorry if posted) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSDkyQFG28o

With Cuadrado, Kenedy and Traore, he's not needed, but I have been a fan for some time and he's a great utility player, like Pedro.
-
Aguero would be really great for them. I hope Benzema stays, I've gotten used of Arsenal being shit, getting Benzema is definitely not nice.
-
He's made for chelsea, he's such an annoying twat with his dirty play and yellow card but no yellow card tackles Great player really, very balanced and complete.
-
Damn but I never liked Roberto Martinez, such an annoying twat.
-
If people are serious, then I must say I would be very disappointed with our fans. Costa was great in both games and the only problem was his finishing while he was also unlucky quite a bit. That will come with form and fitness, but even without it, he's a great player to have on the pitch anyway.
-
I am completely serious and I disagree. While pre season hasn't been great, it hasn't been as bad as some people are making out to be. Courtois did well, Fabregas and Oscar we'e really moving and passing the ball well (3 assists in 2 games for them combined), Costa was great in both games in all aspects with finishing excluded. Begovic was also alright against PSG. You do understand that our game against PSG was their 4th game already while ours was only 2nd? If that doesn't tell you anything, then I'm sad to say your knowledge of football is imited to playing FIFA on amateur difficulty. It was crazy how much negativity there was aimed towards Falcao deal, and after our sleek Colombian runs out on the pitch and makes a few runs, fans are already falling in love with him. Besides results, our shirt campaign with Adidas has been on of the best ever, and having Montreal as a base is a great decision rather then training on a bunch of different pitches. Pre season has been rather decent with the big minus being the loss against NYRB while we played really well against PSG for around 60 minutes. Glass is half full, not half empty.
-
Great pre season for him so far, if he stays fit he'll have a killer season for sure.
