His trademark runs are really missing. Like he lost the balls to run with the ball

Interesting... 2 incidents which show defender's alleged affair with team doctor, Eva Carneiro might be truehttp://pulse.ng/sports/football/branislav-ivanovic-2-incidents-which-show-defenders-alleged-affair-with-team-doctor-eva-carneiro-might-be-true-id4077430.html

I agree completely mate! Post wasn't about that really, I was surprised a bit at how highly Kenedy is actually rated and how people are quoting his game as argument even though to me it wasn't really special from the way he played. Do I want to see him more then Cuadrado, Traore and Moses? Definitely!
-
Aw come on, our team is lead by world experts, not talkchelsea members. Jose knows how often Terry takes a crapper and what color is it! And of course everyone at the club is aware how old is Terry and how important it is to get a replacement. We tried Varane before, then failed. Now it's Stones and if we fail, we'll return next year with more money and determination.
-
I really like the guy and I would be really happy to see him in the PL, but I must notice that lots of people here are way too impressed with him after only 1 pre season game in which he was alright, but nothing special imo. It's nothing bad, but keep in mind his age, pressure, change and experience and don't get on his back if things don't go his way.
-
The incredible aggressiveness we've used in our Stones pursuit means we are thinking very hard about replacements doesn't it?
-
With Mangala shaky, Demichelis not getting older, Otamendi would be a brilliant player for City. He and Mangala can compete for CB positon and suddenly from shaky Kompany and average Demichelis, City would go sky high in terms of defenders compared to us. Crazy...
-
Aguero ripped him a new one today No hard feelings, Aguero is probably the best striker in the world at this moment.
-
Sometimes when people call our fans plastic I honestly struggle to find arguments to defend us... Oh and to respond to this brilliant thread:
-
For me he was at fault for 2nd and 3rd goal. On 2nd he was way too lazy and on 3rd he was easily pushed away. Anything other then bench isn't acceptable to me after his last 2 games. Finally we've signed Rahman so I hope he can impress Jose and get a nod as fast as possible.

Cesc is a player who depends a lot on the movement of our players, and the movement of our players was very close to awful. Take movement away and Cesc is just a little stronger Mata.
-
I can understand Jose not liking him or something, but you don't bring the lad to the pre season and play Rami and Cuadrado instead of him when obviously he offers much more when he plays at this moment. Very disappointed with his treatment, not fair at all and if he's angry, he has full right for it.
-
Was great today, nailed it, I'm really happy from him.
-
Fucking hell, finally! Bring the bag full of Stones and we're set for the season in terms of defense! I'm really hoping we could see Rahman start for us in the next game.
-
I'm really hoping we can see Azpi and Rahman as our fullbacks in the next game. Ivanovic's (awful) games aside, I'm way to tired of seeing him fly around the right wing producing nothing. It's been some time I've seen a decent cross from our full back positions...annoying

Shocking lack of depth and what can we play in big games?

Remy is good but the amount of faith this forum has on him is unbelievable to me Can't say I'm liking the smell of the season so far, it smells like there's a dangerous gas leak in a room full of smokers... -
The whole situation is just idiotic and something that Jose and medical team will solve between themselves easily when tempers aren't hot. Both Jose and Eva were wrong to make anything public and things like this only add to negative opinion about chelsea. Still, I feel the whole situation is just the idiotic English and media blowing stuff out of proportion and drowning in money from idiotic readers. Some people just need to get on with their lives... I'm not even going to bother with all the crap, I'm waiting for Man City game to see our players play and our doctor can be dr House himself if it means he'll do a great job.
-
I wasn't speaking about it, just generally saying. Didn't watch the game, so if he did well it's awesome
-
Considering he is unsettled at the moment, I don't think you should take the level of his performances seriously. I'm going we can't wrap up this deal fast.

Thanks for responding. I'm not sure I've understood what you meant to say. If there is a winter break then winter weather cannot cause games to be postponed. Aside the money issues I can't see other reasons for crippling team's chances in Europe by playing through the winter, and both Mourinho and Wenger already brought up the issue a few times. From one point of view it is ironic what you said and I agree, but from the other it seems to me as if the insane amounts of money injected into the game caused all this loss of quality. For example it's sickening to me how Eden can't play his football well in England because he gets abused every time he's on the ball, and honestly I wouldn't blame him if in a few seasons he wanted to switch to Real where he can actually play football.
-
I agree mostly with your post, but at this moment it's still to early to really bench Fabregas, especially considering that we have begun PL season 1 week eariler then usually and most of our players are yet to be fully prepared for the season ahead. Cesc isn't known for his fitness, and obviously it shows so early into season. And I really doubt it Mourinho even thought of playing Willian and Oscar as CMs because it's not their natural position and sadly our defense has been shaky for some time now. But yeah, I am not a big fan of having Fabregas and Matic as two deep midfielders when we defend. It makes Matic over work, and it makes Cesc burn out and lose the cutting edge and precision needed for his passing.
-
Exactly what you said. I believe some people have forgotten what a forum truly is and kinda got spoiled by facebook, twitter and short dumb stuff you write on those. Sure I get pissed quite a bit with Chelsea at times, but coming into the match thread and wenting my frustration doesn't really help anybody...and I find it very ugly when I visit some club's forum and find fans just slating some part of their club with no arguments provided.

Does anyone else feel that the English football has actually lost on football quality with all this fierce competitivnes combined with more phyiscal play? After watching some games from Spain, Germany and Italy I was left surprised how some games were fun to watch even though I had no fucking idea who some of the players were. Movement, passing, chances...all there, while when I watch games from England, it's mostly running and kicking the shit out of opponent with ocassioanl glimpses of why I actually love football. I am aware that this was and is something that is unique to English football and all that stuff, but I feel it has gotten worse (or better if you view it from a positive side) with all the money, fame and media being rolled around the Premier League. While that isn't bad by itself naturally, to me it seems that it had a cost PL had to pay, and the cost is in the technical quality of football that we see. And not only that, but there is no winter break for English teams and for example, we started this season already 1 week before. I am not a physio sure, but even to me it's evident players need at least 1 more week to get ready for competitive football, and our squad has no injuries thankfuly by luck and our great medical stuff. It seems to me that the PL chiefs don't give a single fuck about players or quality of the game rather then milking more money out of PL and trying to advertize it as much as possible. And again, you can say well yeah they only care about the money of course, and while you are right, I thought that they maybe cared for footballers just a tiny bit, but it doesn't seem to be the case. To add to my argument, I would point out how English teams did in the CL in the last couple of years. Last time an English team won a CL excluding our magic victory, is Man United against us in 2008, and afterwards English teams were almost always struggling against teams from Italy, Spain or Germany. Talk all you want about being lucky, but this is a period of full 5 seasons without an English team dominating in Europe and PL is close to having 3 rather then 4 teams in CL soon. I am excluding our 2012 victory above because by no means were we dominating, nor it was a regular CL for us.

I remember that, I was screaming all manner of swears at my monitor. If instead of a ball they kicked a ballon, he still wouldn't manage to get it how awful he did.
-
I thought the same, but Cuadrado not being on the bench while Moses, Ramires, Remy and Falcao are, doesn't show a bright future for Cuadrado. That implies he leaves the club on a transfer or loan. If he leaves the club, we are left with Hazard, Oscar and Willian which is fine, along with Traore and Moses, and considering Chelsea's ambition for this season, that simply isn't good enough. That implies a transfer, and Pedro is the best available winger for a completely decent transfer fee. 2+2=Pedro I do get you do though, somehow it's tough to imagine anything regarding us in transfer market at this moment
