I've barely slept and when I woke up it felt even worse. What a horrible time to be alive...

After I slept on it it looks just as bad as yesterday. LOL
Poch needs to find a way to finish the season with some positivity. Probably Palmer golden boot or someone of the injured players having a streak of good games(James/Nkunku/Ugo). We need to forget this season and move on, but as it is the second successive season we have to forger it gets a bit trickier.
I genuinely believe that a striker who scores regularly for us can make all the difference. The best thing about a young squad is that its not that hard to make them believe they are the best. A good start to next season can make most of these players a different beast to come up against. COYB!

I am 100% sure that if Poch leaves, we will just get another yes-man and the project will continue. They just went too far with it and can't come back. Look at how much it was spent. The money is gone, no way we can afford another rebuild.

Cosmin got a reaction from Vesper in Everton 2-0 Chelsea
It's been almost 2 years since we last enjoyed being fans of this club. It all started with Lukaku's interview. We were the leaders of the league before that.
Unbelievable.

Poch is right and I like his approach here. When you play at Chelsea and you're injured, make sure you're not filmed in a nightclub. It's that easy.
Just like ten Hag should've known better before publicly talking about Sancho's lack of effort in training. It doesn't matter if you are right, it doesn't matter if you're not breaking any rules. All that matters is to avoid creating problems where there shouldn't be any.

115m for Caicedo is a huge amount of money, but just to put things into context a bit:
1. We had to pay that just because we didn't want to pay 100m initially and then Liverpool came up with 110m on the table. It is our board's fault partially, but at least they tried not to go obscene in this situation. It was impossible.
2. You're not paying the money only for Caicedo. You're paying it to unlock your whole team. Because his profile allows you to change Enzo's role + makes our attack much easier to work.
3. Rival fans are so critical about us spending 105m on 22 y.o. Enzo, 115 on 21 y.o. Caicedo, and 55m on 19 y.o. Lavia. This is a total of 270m. It's a huge amount, but, again, let's put things into context. Liverpool paid 55m on 24 y.o. Mac Allister, 60m on 22 y.o. Szoboszlai and offered 110m on Caicedo. So that's a total of 225 m.
At the same time, we've made a total of 12m on Jorginho, 30m on Kovacic, 60m on Mount, 18.5m on RLC. I'm not gonna include Havertz here, because I consider him part of the attack, not the midfield. That's a total of 120,5m.
Liverpool made 40m on Fabinho, 17m on Henderson, 0m on Keita, 0m on Milner. That's a total of 57m.
Therefore, the net spend for our midfield rebuild would be 149.5m, while they were willing to raise it up to 168m.
All amounts mentioned are with ad-ons included.
So yeah, this is what it takes to rebuild a midfield, like it or not. It's not the narrative that you'll be hearing from rival fans and virtue signaling journos, but it's the reality of football. It's also exactly what other clubs would do. Look at how much Arsenal paid for Rice, look at how much City spent on Rodri, Phillips etc. Look at how much Casemiro cost United.

Loved his conference. Finally a reason for optimism. Reading his book made me like him a lot, but with today’s conference he won me over for good. Vamos!

It's written in collaboration with Balague, but it's from Poch's perspective.
I like the way he treats life and football, in general. He seems very passionate and honest.

We should ask them for the exact amount of money that they get from United for Onana.

Unless we can pull off a keeper like Diogo Costa or Mike Maignan then I'm fine with Kepa for one more season.
He's gotten over the lowest of the lows and while he is by no means great, last season he also wasn't even half as bad as some are making him out to be.
We're never going to win the title or anything significant with Kepa between the sticks but that's hardly going to be our level next season anyway and Kepa on last season's form is IMO good enough for a team challenging for the European places.

Cosmin got a reaction from Blue Armour in Chelsea Transfers
He was not and it is not even that relevant. Who wasn't bad last season? It was an impossible task for the new comers. The only players that truly dissapointed me are those who are already at Chelsea beefore last season. Cucurella came from a very settled Brighton team, with a fluid system, to a mess of a team at Chelsea, with managers changing and all that. Not to mention his personal issues.
He got exposed in positions where he wasn't meant to be played. I am 100% sure there is a good player in there and I hope Poch will bring him to surface.

People can't actually say Kepa is bad and then want De Gea...
Kepa is a better keeper than De Gea.
