The season just started. The headline makes you think the team is in 7 loses in a row.

We weren’t too bad last season with all things considered right? 
This season, only 2 matches played, I don’t think it’s a fair sample size to make deep analysis but if you want to, I would like to say we have improved our defense collectively except those individual errors which were random and unpredictable. Offensively yes we looks poorer but spare in mind that we are missing our two major ball carriers in Pulisic and Willian, and the new boys Werner and Havertz still need time to adapt. Personally I think we played pretty well before the red card and arguably we had created more chances in the first half.

Use Kepa over Willy is stubborn? Can you guarantee Willy wouldn’t make mistakes? It’s not like dropping C.Ronaldo for Marko Marin you know. Just because Kepa did a shit show doesn’t mean you can falsely accuse Frank’s choice of GK. They are both shit, you can only blame the team didn’t sign a decent GK soon enough. And what’s it to do with Frank about Kepa “disrespected” Sarri, you’re clutching at straws here.

There’s no IFs, Ziyech Chilwell Silva indeed haven’t played, can you see them on the pitch? Let them play first, end of story.

So far Frank is nothing special as a manager but also not that bad as you proclaimed, at least he lead us to 4th with a team that was pretty much written off by everyone.

A typical 2020 knee jerk reaction would be to say that they can't defend the manager when he does not have both his main wingers, his 1st choice lB, 1st choice CB, and a half decent gk.

Reguilon wouldn't be a bad signing, especially if the price was that low. He looked really good for Real Madrid last season and I was surprised they loaned him out. Been even better for Sevilla from what I've heard, haven't seen much of him there tho.
I'd take Reguilon at £20M over Chillwell at £70M any day.
He recently switched agents to Kia Joorabchian who has a good relationship with the Chelsea board so I'm not surprised to see this rumor pop up. Whether it actually happens is still very much up in the air.

Anyway @Jason can something be done about Iggy?
I've never in my near decade on here reported anyone but for over a week now he's been targeting me and insulting me because I won't follow his party lines. People like him are almost certainly why you lost posters like The Skipper, Peace, Styles etc al and they won't be the last without appropriate action taken.
Even now after a week of this I've still tried to discuss reasonably with him (after he again targeted a footballing post of mine in a conversation he was not involved in) and you only need to look at his following reaction.
Although this site certainly won't miss him and may even be a positive baby step to bringing it back to what it once was I won't ask for him to be banned or anything, but can't there be a rule imposed where he's not allowed to mention me in any way shape or form (and i will happily agree to the same in reverse) and more importantly that he can't go targeting other posters in the same way because make no mistake I know his type and i certainly won't be the last if you don't take any action, if anything he'll be even worse next time.

Not angry neither.

The question is what should we do for the second match ?
Play with a B or C squad and maybe take a stronger humiliation but rest our players to focus our top 4 ?
Or risk to play with our main players with zero chance to have a qualification ?

Then quite frankly that makes it even more embarrassing that you're offering no leeway to a team who lost their game changer and are trying to rebuild with academy players (most of whom playing their first season in a major league).
If Bayern narrowly beat us over two legs say 3-4 and we more than match them, will I be happy and walking round going "woo woo we lost 3-4"? Ofcourse not and I'll probably be even more gutted than usual given we ran them so close, but would I be proud of our young lads for going toe to toe against one of Europe's best sides at the first time (a big European knockout tie) of asking? Absolutely, and I can confidently predict more would be than won't, even on here.

I disagree. I think this is the game where Kepa has to return. Caballero's decision making is very suspect. It is a disaster waiting to happen I think.  The team won vs Spurs but his decision to rush out when Bergwijn was through and his positioning for the own goal were both shaky in a game where Spurs had few chances. In the game vs Bayern, the keeper will surely be busier  

Need a win. System change could be good as need to do something different. Happy giroud is in as he should be able to link up with mount etc.

Lampard deserves to stay at least a second season with propers players whatever the end of the season.

When I see this Chelsea team played I’m bitter sweet.
Sweet because we play good football, attractive, attacking. I find our football is more interesting under Lampard than under Sarri.
Under Sarri its was always the same, it was just boring to watch. We had possesion ok but we made side pass and side pass during the majority of the match.
And Bitter because we have an evident lack of quality on our front line and some defensive correction to make.

We lost our best player who give us 50% of our goals last season and without the possibilité to replace him.
We play with some players that a lot of football fans didn’t knew 6 month ago (Abraham, Mount, Reece, Tomori).
So its dissapointing if we fail in view of our good start but in the end it’s not a surprise.
I’m sur with Ziyech,, a good left back, a proper nine, and an other attractive Winger (Sancho or this kind) we should do an incredible season next year.
We will be fool to sack Lampard, this club really need to learn from the past.

The situation with Lamptey is a funny one. If he hadn't been used in that Arsenal game, would people even bother with him deciding to leave? 
From Lamptey's perspective, he probably knows he won't get ahead of James in the pecking order and he doesn't want to play second fiddle in the long run. It's also probably good he goes elsewhere because you know, he won't have to take shit from people when he suffers a dip in form...

The recent poor results are mainly due to tiredness and lack of alternatives in the squad.
This team and this coach, despite their youth and inexperience, have played against Liverpool, Man Utd, Ajax, Valencia, Man City, ...
And had very good performances!
Tottenham have a good squad, but they are in the end of the cycle, they are breathing the oxygen bottle of a new coach but we will see how long it lasts ...
These days of rest and training will put us better and we will have another afternoon of pride. I am sure of it!

Pulisic and CHO are too young and need to prove, we will see next seasons wich deserved more between us.
In the meantime Willian is a loyal soldier, and deserve respect even his performance was not so good.
 
 

It is really frustrating to see how fans have such knee-jerk reactions. It just takes a couple of games or so for a player to perform and fans suddenly realise that maybe the player is quite good and has a lot of ability. I have long been a fan of Kovacic and was bemused by the majority of fans who were so against signing him. Suddenly is playing good in pre-season and Eureka! Same goes to Barkley too. Most fans trash talk him and write him off until he shows a few good games in pre-season. This is why I wish some of us would just be patient and allow a player to grow. Look how much people have taken to Jorginho after slating him off then he suddenly starts to settle and look good. 
Patience is a virtue. Kovacic has always been a talented player. Barkley is talented too.
