BXL70 got a reaction from DDA in Chelsea 0-3 PSG
We can change the manager every 3 weeks if you want, but will the performance improve?
6th manager in 4 years, be serious.
Rosenior messed up, ok.
But the team is crap, be honest. Look at the defenders yesterday, Sarr, Hato, who are these guys? 20 year old, 23 years old with combined 3 CL games, Chalobah who was asked to leave the club last summer.
That team is composed of inexperienced players (apart from 2/3), and there is an obvious lack of talent. Changing the manager won't make much difference.

When you buy youth you take a risk and they have pinned every hope, and when I say hope that is the key word...fucking hope and are again hoping on the project.
We need experience but we won't pay for it, we want youth to build but they aren't good enough. You need experience to guide and nurture the youth, they need their hand holding and guiding through their football journey. They need help in training, guidance in games, chats in the changing rooms about how to approach games, all these things like what JT and Frank did with young lads in the team from years ago, there are no senior figures and please don't say Caicedo's and Enzo's they have earn't nothing at this club and one in Enzo you could say he is a WC winner but he's ready to fucking bail like a shithouse when things have got tough.
Go figure this shit, it's fucking madness

BXL70 got a reaction from Fernando in PSG 5-2 Chelsea
Anyway, it is impossible to compete with shit goalkeepers and CBs. Maresca made it clear before the season starts that we need to replace Colwill. These are two signings we absolutely need. But again, the owners are plain idiots.

BXL70 reacted to Stats in PSG 5-2 Chelsea
A mix of frustration and anger. Was never a 5-2 game. We had many occasions where we could scored a few and then a crazy last 10 minutes completely changed the game. I struggle to see how we overturn it. Not because we need to just make up 3 goals. We have seen it happen in the past, however more to do that we now play a tough game on Saturday whilst PSG have a whole week off, due to Ligue 1 postponing their upcoming fixture.
To the game, thought Neto was very good. Caused a lot of problems. Enzo played well too. Team did in general. What annoyed me was the subs. Another game where Rosenior made subs to kind of preserve what we had and it ended up backfiring. I thought Garnacho should have come on earlier, with how stretched the game was. We were causing them issues out wide and on that big pitch, this is the type of game Garnacho could have made a real impact.
Really frustrating because the scoreline suggests we got Spurs'd but we never. Just lapses in concentration. Keeper hugely at fault but is it their fault when the manager constantly keeps implying on playing out from the back. Stick with your philosophy, however sometimes respect the opposition.

The first goal is on Tosin and Sanchez. To me Sanchez is a liability, he easily costs us 5 to 8 points over the season compared to a top gk, this a lot.
Now we that we have a top striker, we need a top GK, really.

Apparently he wants to join ManUtd, let him go.

bring Eden backs as shooting coach
pay him a bonus of a pastry for every shot on target by Garnacho
and a full meal for every goal

Another coach wouldn't change anything. We would still have to play a team of largely inexperienced and unproven young players, especially in defense and attack. We are having quantity over quality.

The MF is not ridiculously good. Or teams wouldn’t run over us as often as they do. Caicedo is very good, Enzo Fernandez is a passenger most games, Lavia’s always injured & the other lads are young and need to play more in the PL to get a grasp of it (Santos/Essugo). Reece is hit and miss in there. What is ridiculously good about that?
Take Cole & Caicedo out of this team and it is pretty poor, which for £2.5bn spend is absolutely mad. Even with both of our starting fullbacks in from the start. Although Cucurella did dig us out of some holes last season in really poor games with goals.
The new signings of Joao Pedro & Estevao are looking like they will be good additions. Joao making a big impact already but you cannot just pin everything on them from day 1, particularly not on a 17 year old kid in his first season in Europe. It’s not like they are coming into a side where there are top top players all around them either.
When have good teams ever achieved anything big without elite GK or CBs? Thats on BlueCo & the sporting directors. It is clear that the recruitment is not done on Maresca’s say so, like with Potter & Poch before him so BlueCo are absolutely accountable for as much of the issues as the manager, if not more.
This is not a major title winning team I am sorry, not even remotely close and to think that is absolutely crazy. A major title winning team has a very strong spine throughout their team… we have 2 top players in Moises & Cole who make a huge difference most games and not much else. Maybe throw Reece in there but again we are so poor defensively.

João Pedro is yet another one of those “good player but is he what we need?” types. And the answer is no. Again, he’s the sort of signing that I’d welcome if we already had a serious #9 who he could either play off of or rotate for.
This would basically be replacing Nkunku 1 to 1. A forward who has no defined position. Not an outright striker, not a natural #10, and not a winger. Maresca already didn’t quite know how to use Nkunku and Felix who are just that type of player.

Don’t think that would be a good idea. He has shown some serious leadership qualities in times of recent. Think we need to keep him around.

BXL70 reacted to Blue Armour in 🏴 24. Reece James
Big shout out to Reece James for finishing the season strongly. He's had his injury troubles over the 3 years, but have to say that both Maresca and him have carefully managed his comeback, and hopefully this has given him a stable foundation for next season.
I know he has got a lot of flak for his captaining (or lack of), and he isn't as vocal like a JT or even an Enzo. But he leads in the best way possible, through example. By being on the pitch and displaying what it means to be a top player.
You can see it in the reactions of the other lads too. Palmer in his goal celebrations with James. Caicedo also voting only James from the current generation into his all time Chelsea 11.

Jackson is a liability. A top striker would have scored two goals and game over.
It should be the priority for next season. And keep Gallagher.

BXL70 reacted to Strike in 🇺🇦 Mykhaylo Mudryk
He's been playing without a supporting full-back. Ball comes to him and defenders usually double up and there's no one making runs around him. The few occasions he ran at Cash, he managed to beat him and send a cross into the box.

You can't just buy 15 young players and hope for a miracle.
I just think we spent the money in a wrong way.

This.
I'm surprised that more people are turning on Poch, when the root cause has been the same problem that it's always been for the past year. It's the new administration.
The lack of experience is what makes for results like these. Colwill, Caicedo are all great players that can fulfill their potential in a few years. But there will be mistakes, and without leaders to control the game on the pitch., this will continue to happen.
And the inexperienced squad is down to the club, not Poch
I keep bringing up Arsenal from Wengers last few seasons and after, because that's a good example for where we are right now. A factory of youth players that won fuck all.
Hopefully players like Enzo can be molded into leaders, that is, if they stick around with us after back to back seasons like this one.

Lukaku best defender for the opposition team at blocking goal bound shits just like vs donezk 2 yrs ago.
It tbf i think that di marco header would have been blocked by Dias on the line
the miss was way worse. 4m out, 7,20m open goal, 15cm Ederson’s leg. Guess what he hits. Probably worse than all the Timo misses for us the last few years. Still, fat Rom did not even look bothered. Probably will blame his coach not starting him for missing yet another sitter
