It's too big

Dunno why we're even contemplating buying Leicester players. They have had an extraordinary season. If it wasn't for the big clubs severely underperforming this season, Leicester would likely be outside top 4. One good season and all of a sudden we should buy their top players. Where were the likes of kante, vardy and mahrez before this season? I would understand if they had been doing it consistently for 2-3 season, but so far the players are having a purple patch and it's unlikely to continue into next season.

Rather that problem than not enough quality centre mids and get run over in centre of park like previously.

So if Hazard left do you feel musonda could be the guy to replace him on the wing? If conte does like the traditional wingers then that probably wouldn't be possible though.

That's the thing, everybody's body is different and no one person will have the same stamina. I notice with very tall players they don't particularly have fantastic stamina so maybe RLC can only do so much until his body disallows him to increase his stamina to very high levels. Not every player will have willian or kante esque stamina, I mean compare willians stamina to other players of similar stature's engines and there will be a vast contrast between the two players.

This is why musonda should be in this team. After his loan bring him back. Musonda can play in no.10, right?

Which other keepers are out there? I didn't watch much of him at atletico, but how much better was he at Madrid?

Does anyone feel frustrated with him and feel there are better strikers out there? Technically he is quite poor for a striker; his dribbling, ball control and decision making is incredibly poor at times. I hate when he runs down blind alleys and keeps hold of the ball too long which results in him losing us possession. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way, but I just don't think he suits the system we want to play. We want to play fast flowing football, quick passing and retaining possession and at the moment he, amongst a handful more, are just not capable of this.

I actually don't mind him not being fit if it means Traore is getting game time.

I would like Loftus Cheek to add goals and tracking back to his game, if he gains those two things i think he'll become a better player than Pogba, but so far he hasn't shown anything to give me confidence he can reach Pogba's level.

Well we will be without CL football so they can only do so much. I am sure not everyone will be happy with whomever they decide to bring in.

How the hell did Jose decide not to play De Bruyne and agree to sell him? How the hell did Mata get sold? The same for Lukaku too. It is just the Mourinho way it seems, won't give chances to the really talented young players.

Not sure i would want Simeone. He is a top manager, but his style just isn't one that gives me enjoyment. I would like to see what Conte could do in all honesty.

The only thing that disappoints me with certain players wanting to move, is when things get tough they want out, but they are not willing to put in the work to help the team/club out of the mess. Hazard has been anonymous all season long and any talk of leaving just causes fans of the club to feel a little resentment towards him. I know the interviewer was likely aiming to be provocative, but it is still disappointing to hear so much talk of our big players possibly leaving when they also had a large part to play in why the club is not in position to get CL football next season. Let us hope Hazard will stay beyond this season to help sort this mess out and help to get us playing at the level we should be again.

Really frustrating how the two Spanish giants can easily attract every top young player. I know they're the two biggest clubs, but feels unfair at times. I have never seen this kid play though, so no idea how good he is. What is his style of play? Is he a box to box, defensive mid, etc?

How often does Mourinho have his teams playing nice football though? I think that first half of the season was okay, but we hardly played exhilarating stuff like Liverpool of 2 seasons back or Man city even, we still won games by 1 or 2 (if we were lucky) goals and looked a little dodgy in defence. We lost to west brom away 3-0, drew to Liverpool at home, drawing at home to Southampton and a myriad of other poor results, especially towards the latter end of the season and allowed our rivals to close the point gap a couple times when we had a very healthy lead. I think Mourinho will never be an attacking minded coach, and when his teams have been attacking it's because there have been some phenominal players at his disposal, such as Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria and Modric at Madrid, and Drogba, Robben, Lampard, Duff, Cole etc here in his first spell. How much of the attacking play and amount of goals was more down to the quality of players in the team rather than solely Mourinho's mindset of wanting to play an attacking game? Be interesting to hear arguments against this and your views.

Its easy to say this in an interview, but at the end of the season i would be surprised if he sticks to his word and stays at Chelsea if Real come in for him. I would be ecstatic if he stays loyal to us, but his words in an interview mean nothing to me. Who would you like to bring in to replace him if he leaves? Griezmann?

Yeah doesn't sound promising from what i gathered from that. We either win the CL this season or it's very likely he'll leave. I hope we get as much as possible out of Madrid.
