  1. Real won't buy Hazard this month. They still have Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, James and Isco. Why would they pay out a ton of money for Hazard now while the others are still playing for them with no rumours of any leaving in this window. With Ronaldo, Bale and James there's not a chance Hazard will get near the team tbh.
  2. Another overrated speed merchant. I don't see what he would offer us that Pedro and Willian don't. Would be a pointless signing. If we want wide attackers, just give Traore and/or Kenedy a shot and save ourselves millions.
  3. Hope not tbh, he is Mourinho mark 2. I would rather we stuck with Guus Hiddink if he has a successful (relative i know, but successful would be challenging for top 4 or 6) season with us.
  4. One season out of the CL is not big deal. We may still get a CL spot, if not then a Europa place. If he signed a 3-4 year contract and spent the first season building, then the next 2 seasons aims for CL trophy and the EPL to top off a successful campaign here. People put a lot of emphasis and stress on potentially missing out of CL, but it's for one season! I am sure he would be more than happy to focus on winning the EPL next season if he came, and maybe a domestic trophy. Let's be honest, it has taken him 3 seasons at Bayern and he still hasn't won the CL so how will that be different here? The squad would need rebuilding to compete at that level anyway. I hope you don't expect him to come in and have us challenging for the CL straight away. I dunno whether he will come or not, or whether he would be up for a challenge here - only he can decide what he wants.
  5. And how could you possibly know this? The kid is just out of high school, hardly expect him to be the next coming of maradona.
  6. Mourinho looking like he'll be back at madrid.
  7. Watford have two on form players in attack and that's it. If we attack like we are capable of, watford will be a lot more tentative about going on any kind of offensive against us. When we are on form, our offensive might is as good as any and it will cause any team massive problems, let alone watford.
  8. I doubt every player wants to play for him. That is what people said about Mourinho, but it didn't get us any top players while he was here and instead seemed to turn players off. The players of this current era are mercenaries and would come for the $$$ more than anything. London is more desirable also, but if we don't offer the money for players they won't come. Alexis Sanchez proved he would rather play for a London club than up north.
  9. I don't like how everybody is shitting themselves because City could be (or are) getting Guardiola. Don't get me wrong, he's a brilliant coach and it's a shame we couldn't get him, but it isn't like there aren't other top level managers out there who can help lead us to success. City are not Barcelona of old, neither do they have the same level of player as Bayern Munich. City are far from unbeatable, with or without Guardiola and from what we've learned in the past, Guardiola can be beaten by managers below his "level" I would prefer to wait until next season to start casting doubt on any other English teams success, especially ours, just because big bad Pep Guardiola is going to be taking charge of City. Everyone thought Klopp would turn Liverpool into world beaters and it hasn't happened. Managing in the Premier League is totally different and not something either manager will have dealt with before. People here and elsewhere across the net are being way too presumptuous regarding Guardiola's success at City before he's even stepped foot in Manchester.
  10. Actually Pep once said that he believes that a manager can only hold the attention of players for 3-4 seasons. I think that is the reason why he left Barca is because the players became complacent. Sound similar?
  11. Let's be honest, he's not going to strengthen city that much more. They had a stronger squad than us before KDB, so it's not going to make much of a difference unless we step our game up twice as hard as we have been. I just hope we strengthen smartly in Jan and/or next summer, because this season is ALMOST certainly city's with the squad they have at current. I hope we make a fight of it, of course, but it will be tough if we continue in poor form.
  12. Does anyone else think Pogba looks like Charly Musonda facially?
  13. The issue is him being in this league with players being sunday league/overly physical and very haphazard. the problem with signing a player with his kind of injuries is whether they will easily return.
  14. there is nothing overrated about oscar, he's a quality player and still only 23.
  15. Mourinho gave the board his opinion on the players in April, but he couldn't have predicted how quickly Ivanovic, Fabregas and Terry's form would dissipate.
  16. So we haven't got scouts in different countries? I don't actually know how scouting works in other countries because i just assumed we had various scouts and Emenalo (or whomever) has the final say.
  17. I think Michael Emenalo needs to be sacked tbh. He is losing the club quite a lot of money with these ridiculous signings that are then failing here, only to be sent out on loan. I wonder how many rash, ill thought out signings one has to make to be at risk of the sack. We all get on Jose's back as soon as a signing fails, but Emenalo needs evaluating by the board as he's going about his job in a haphazard way.
  18. could turn out to be a good if he plays for us. is he homegrown?
  19. Works for bayern and they use alonso as a cb when needs be during the game, while lahm and alaba act as lcb and rcb.
  20. "Chelsea have agreed a fee with Roma for Belgian International midfielder, Radja Nainggolan, according to Sky Italia sources" This is what i want to see tomorrow at some point.
  21. Training alongside top players will definitely give him a boost and motivation.
  22. There are tons of players you can reel off that play for shit or mediocre sides, yet always stand out against good sides. Bolasie is a good example; he plays for a mediocre sides but is always a tough player to play against, the same for montero and plenty of others in this league, yet alone other leagues around Europe. People acting like this is a long term signing, it's obviously not and i wouldn't be surprised if we are in for someone better in Jan.
