Let's not jump to conclusions and act like he's shit; people were calling for fucking youth players to come in, yet we sign a guy who's experienced and played at a high level for a good while for a small fee, yet people go bat shit crazy and call it a "Panic buy!" I think panicking would be relying on youth players whom are a lot more inexperienced at a good level.

Martinez is shook, he might know something that we don't. Maybe stones is off in the last few hours of deadline day (?) or maybe he's just delusional. I don't know how true it is about Laporte, but at the moment he's playing for Bilbao whom aren't challenging for anything, so maybe Laporte would like a change of scenery and a chance to win bigger things and challenge.

I am 60/40 on wanting to keep him as manager at the moment. I understand he is one of the top 2/3 managers in world football, but he just doesn't seem to want to give Roman or the fans the kind of football we want to see. If Guardiola became available at the end of the season, i would take him in a flash, but he may sign another contract with Bayern or might not want to come to Chelsea. I am starting to doubt whether Mourinho can change the situaton or not, or whether he has lost the dressing room. To be honest, for any manager it's tough after the 3rd season and he's not had much help in the transfer window. Man city have been able to keep things fresh by continually bringing in quality players to add to their strength in depth, whereas we haven't bought enough quality. Are we overbaked by playing too much, or are jose's tactics now growing old and the players are bored with them? Also, which other managers are out there that are available, or may be available in a season? The situation has to be perfect for all parties if he left and we got someone else in. If Guardiola signs a new contract then that leaves us with only one option and, we would be going over old ground, but it would be Ancelotti, and as much as I adore him as a coach, he may end up coming winning a title and then going downhill just like jose is at the moment. For me, if we don't improve then it's either offer Pep a great contract with assurances he won't be sacked, and bring him in next summer.

Such a quality player; being badly overlooked. Would love him here.
-
Pjanic is a great fk taker.
-
Good. People overrate him. For £70-80 million I want a 20+ goal a season attacker, not a above average centre midfielder.
-
Naiggolan would be a better choice.
-
I am going to predict a scoreline of 2-4 win for us. This is the game where our season picks up.
-
Falcao just needs the fitness level to increase and he'll come good. I always had faith in Radamel Falcao García Zárate; Man Utd will regret getting rid as Rooney continues to fail for them
-
Considering Draxler is now going to Wolfsburg, this is no surprise
-
Good! We shouldn't be wanting to pay that much for a player who's been overrated to fuck.
-
I would say rest him, put in Kenedy and Oscar. Pedro - RW Oscar - CAM Kenedy - LW Give Hazard a couple games rest.
-
Our main problem when we were after Pep was that Roman was sacking managers left and right. I expect Pep to sign a new contract with Bayern, but if he doesn't then i wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in or Ancelotti back. I think with Pep, he would develop our young players well and bring through the youth without a second thought, as well as getting us playing positive football and utilising the players to the best of their abilities.
-
As opposed to Costa, who did what? Costa is becoming a disappointment this season and his positioning is below par to say the least.
-
he's 24 (25 next month) so hardly the next neymar, but kenedy will be awesome player in the future if he continues how he has for us.
-
It seems that José is a stubborn guy. You know the saying "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Well José playing ivan at RB compliments this quote perfectly. I am pissed off he doesn't show more faith in the young guys. Ruben loftus cheek, Traore and Kenedy would be ideal to have in this team right now, but no, José chooses the same old crap over and over expecting things to get better. Wake up, José before your job is given to someone else.
-
Bring Carlo back or Pep in if he doesn't sign with bayern. jose is a joke, so pissed off right now

Potentially RLC could be the nrxt yaya toure too, but everyone so hyped on pogba. Let us not forget that pogba is still just potential at this point too.
-
We're getting varane next summer, let's not stress over it ;-)

Everton are trying to prove some ridiculous point, but they don't have money to spend so why do they continue with the "we are a big club" bollocks. I hope this comes back to bite them in the ass, in fact, i think it will. Not even yarmo-fucking-lenko wants to go there - says it all really.

Oh god, is this thread gonna reach another 1000 pages too before we're disappointed lol

The one on the right works for daily mail, so probably knows more than twitter 'journos'. He didn't even say it was guaranteed.
