The most exciting signing in years!
-
At Real Madrid, Hazard would definitely force Bale to the bench if Zidane had to choose one or the other. Zidane would probably play both of them as they would complement each other perfectly. That's also why Bale is the one player that I'd like to see as our RW the most. But, that will NEVER happen so there is no point fantasising about it. I'll take James any day of the week, signing him would be a big statement from the club and he'd improve our attack massively. Sign him up!
-
This would be a great deal. Costa, Batshuayi, Mandzukic would the best attack the club has had in a long time
-
Certainly recalling him has to be an option at this point? The transfer window cannot end with us not signing a top class centreback.
-
Amazing strength and superb technique. Seems like the perfect striker.

Credit where its due...I've been one of his critiques but what a sensational pass from Cesc!
-
Batman yess!

Ivanovic for fuck sake! Learn to cross

Forget the game, those vacuum cleaners are the bomb!

That's just another way of saying that Baba was crap and that is why he had to leave. Rodriguez is so good offensively that it balances out some of his defensive problems. And he isn't that slow IMO, similar to Azpilicueta. This would be a fantastic signing! Next season we could play him as a wingback with Christensen (hopefully) coming back from loan if Conte wishes to try 3 at the back.

We don't know what was going on behind the curtains during Jose's second term but I'd imagine that Roman and the board weren't particularly happy about selling KdB or Lukaku but were willing to accept it knowing that Jose will bring trophies. I don't think the owner wants the manager to repeat those mistakes this time and thus I seriously doubt that Conte would not be aware of the pool of talented players in the academy or on loan. The club has cut spending in recent years and to me it is giving a signal that the club wants to become more self-sufficient, integrate the youth from the academy and give serious chances to some of the players that were bought for peanuts before going on loan. Trust me, Christensen is part of the plan and will certainly be one of our defenders in the future. I don't know about Conte's history with giving chances to youth players but he has already done more than Jose.

He doesn't give a crap haha...From Arsenal to Chelsea and from Barca to Real.
-
Is Il Messaggero reliable source?
-
I'd be happy to take him if we end up selling Fabregas. He offers a lot going forward but his lack of pace and below average tackling could be an issue for Conte. It could work though in a midfield of three if Kante stays healthy and Matic discovers his top form.
-
That's what I wanted to hear! Sounds like Christensen-Koulibaly-Zouma could be quite a complete defence if we ever want to try 3 at the back in the future.
-
Haven't seen enough of him to be honest. According to many in here he is pretty good with long balls which is exactly what we need. Besides that, how is his technique with the ball? Closer to Carvalho/Bonucci or closer to Zouma/Mangala?

Bego is one of the best backup keepers on the planet. I can't understand anyone who thinks we should replace him with someone else. Our GK department is fantastic and literally the least of our worries. Courtois-Cech was probably the best GK duo in Premier League history and something that was always going to be just a temporary situation.

As far as I can recall, this is exactly what the fans said about Azpilicueta when he made his debut. Give the kid some time!
-
I actually feel very confident about this loan. Traore will be the best striker at Ajax this season. If he's lucky enough to avoid injuries or some sort of unforeseen crisis at Ajax, this will end up like case Courtois.
-
In my opinion, the only consequence out of this would be slightly higher penalty fees. Bring the kid home! This is getting silly.

Don't get me wrong, I truly understand that point of view as well. It would be a shame if all clubs in world football would be suffering from Ajax-syndrome. However, some of these clubs seem to have especially hard time selling some of their players for a price and moving on with their lives. We are talking about Koulibaly and Stones here. These guys are not world beaters and I do not understand why the clubs have such a hard time accepting a transfer which would provide them with substantial amount of money relative to the quality of these players. Hazard, Pogba, Suarez, Neymar are in the Galactico-class and thus the clubs should do everything in their power to keep these players, or at least receive insane amount of money. I wouldn't sell Hazard for 40M pounds but I'd probably sell him for 100-120. If we were better equipped in the centreback department and some (not PL) club offered 50M pounds for Zouma, I'd probably shake hands and walk away with the money. Nobody apart from the greedy agents benefit from these extended transfer sagas considering that the season is starting THIS weekend. Look at Borussia Dortmund. They get the deals done, sell some of their players and get new faces in. That policy seems to be working just fine. Obviously, it would be better if they wouldn't sell half of their players to their biggest rival

Napoli, Porto, Spurs, Everton.....never ever do business with these bunch of cunts.
-
Talking about the players WE NEED....
-
I can't believe that we have almost the same back 4 that got AVB sacked in 2011...
