So surprised with Costa's ability! Tbh I was little sceptic with the signing and was worried that he would be another Andy Carrol but now it looks like he's on Drogba-level! Excited about the season more and more every game!

And those are just formations made up of “starting eleven players”. Our quality on the bench with Van Ginkel, Ramires, Drogba, Salah, Romeu….possibly Baker and Chalobah. Not to mention the discussion about Oscar’s and Cesc’s position between the pivot and the No.10 spot. And Cesc could also be utilized as a false nine. Damn, this team would be ready for chasing the fucking treble. Game on!

We could play something like a 4-2-2-2 Costa (Drogba) - Cavani (Schurrle) Hazard (Willian) Oscar (Salah, Baker/Boga) Matic (Romeu/Mikel) - Fabregas (Ramires, Van Ginkel)

Would make perfect sense considering PSG's FFP situation and our need for a striker. It would be intriguing to see how Jose would deal with having two world class strikers fighting for that one position in the starting eleven. Who would you rather offer to Dortmund in exchange for Reus? Willian + cash or Oscar (+ cash)? I personally think Willian is more useful for our SYSTEM (Sorry, still used to Van Gaal's terminology )

Damn Jose made some nice deals for Madrid. Bought Ozil for 15M€ and he got sold for 50M€. Bought Di Maria for 25M€ and now apparently he is getting sold for 75M€. Maybe in 2017 we will be able to sell Willian for 90M€?

Yeah. Buying Vidal instead of Kroos would had made so much more sense in case they are planning to get James as well.

Why not? Is there another team competing for him at the moment besides ManU? Real has Kroos, PSG is more after Pogba and Barca just spend huge amount on the most famous dentition on the planet and they also need couple defenders. Man City don't need him nor do Bayern. Chelsea certainly has the resources, the manager that is like tailor-made for player like the Great Arturo and he would also see Champions League football at the Bridge. Willian wasn't coming to Chelsea until Roman made the call that made him see the light . This is the time to attack and hijack the deal away from ManU, if there ever even was contact between the two parties..

How about we try to swap Oscar for Vidal. I mean, Costa-Hazard-Fabregas-Schurrle-Matic-Vidal does seem more balanced, more dynamic and more defensively sound than Costa-Hazard-Oscar-Schurrle-Matic-Fabregas. We could include a some kind of buy-back clause in case Oscar develops to become the player we all are expecting him to be. But right now the way the squad is formed, Vidal seems like the more logical player for the starting eleven. He would simply complete the puzzle that is already terrifyingly complete. By the way, I'm a new here so that's why you haven't seen me post here before

Hey guys, I'm 25 year-old Chelsea fan from The Hague, Netherlands. This is a part of the country that you are actually allowed to refer as Holland! My first memory of Chelsea is the THAT goal of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink against ManU but my first visit to the Bridge came as late as last season when I saw Chelsea - Aston Villa in August. I've been reading the site for quite a while (since the beginning of the year lol) but I've been too lazy to write the introduction or anything else so far.
