Why are we in this mess? Quite simple, the two best players of our squad last season, Hazard and Matic, have become the worst players in the team. I bet this wouldn't have happened if we had a manager capable of squad rotation. Mourinho destroyed both players by playing them too much, utilising the most talented player in the club's history as a fullback. Who knows if Hazard will ever recover from the constant injuries.

When was the last time we had line-up this attacking in a big and crucial game? Soooo refreshing! Rather lose this way than play with 7 defenders and end up losing anyways. Good! Sad not to see Traoré though, I thought he could really help us in this one. Hazard needs to have the game of the season. Now is the time. If he doesn't turn up he should be substituted at half-time. It is usually easy to determine within 5 minutes that whether Hazard is playing 100% or not.

I'd like to see Kenedy start this one. He has this incredible confidence (almost arrogance) in his play which might surprise the Parisians. We need that to turn this one around. Oscar-Willian-Hazard combination is very unlikely to score, they'll probably just pass the ball sideways until Oscar loses it. But enough with the negative approach towards our stars, I feel confident about this game! I just hope Guus knows his players and knows which players are ready to deliver tonight.

And if we only lose of those, PLEASE let it be against Leicester. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually want us to lose that one Nothing would be worse than giving Spurs the championship because Leicester loses the final game against us. The football world would never forgive Chelsea for that...

If Pedro is fit this is the XI I would go for as well. It could even be more like a 4-4-2, defensively solid with Willian and Pedro on the wings and 2 strikers up so Cesc has more options where to place his through balls.

Or possibly both. Considering the vast talent we have, I wouldn't be afraid to go to next season with Willian, Pedro, Traore, Musonda and Kenedy as our main AM options. The money from sale of Hazard and Oscar could be used for buying world-class options to CB and CM/CDM. But let's hope we can keep Hazard, if he actually wants to stay. This kid's potential is immense. Just the fact that my Belgian friends keep saying he's bigger talent than Eden Hazard scares the hell out of me. He could be the biggest star in the Premier League by the time of Euro 2020.

Yes he is more mobile and is more precise with short passing. His ball control is closer to that of Hazard than Fabregas and he performs better under pressure. Fabregas might be mighty with his long balls but Pjanic is good enough with those as well. Pjanic also scores goals and has a decent shot in him. There have been numerous occasions where Fabregas has a really good shooting opportunity but decides to pass instead because his shooting just isn't that good. I think long range shooting is something that we really lack as a team, you cannot just walk the ball into the goal every time. And also, he is one the best set-piece takers in the world. We have Willian but having another one of that quality surely can't do any harm.

Matic would be a beast in a league that plays with less tempo. But is Pogba really needed here? I'd argue that there is no reason to pay incredible amounts for Pogba when he isn't even the best midfielder in the Juventus team. We have Loftus-Cheek who is an academy graduate and resembles Pogba in quite a few ways. Instead, we should be considering players in the mold of Pjanic/Verratti/Gundogan. Then go for Nainggolan/Vidal and our midfield would be far more complete than with Pogba IMO. Pjanic - Nainggolan - Loftus-Cheek all the way for me. Not sure where Cesc fits in that squad but I reckon that he won't be here for that long anyways. He'll be gone after next season if not during this summer.

This is clearly the best Hazard this season! Great passing and seems to drive at the defenders.

I'm just surprised how fit Kenedy seems. I mean, he disappeared for 6 months and then comes back and starts running the show. What the hell was he doing in the meantime?

Replace Oscar with Willian and Cahill with Zouma and thats our best 11 at the moment.

Season from hell.

You shouldn't base players' value on their February form. Nobody apart from Leicester players, Willian and Luis Suárez seems to be in-form at the moment in world football. I honestly don't even know what the market value of most players is anymore. It's only matter of time before first £100m transfer happens and something like £50m just isn't that much money nowadays. As if the market wasn't insane enough, the Chinese have come and made it more unpredictable and chaotic. It is more likely than not that Stones will be the first-choice centreback for English national team for quite some time and that alone is worth the pricetag. If he doesn't perform according to the standards of this club, he could still be sold for quite a large chunk of money. Or maybe the Chinese will pay £500m for him and we'll finance the renovation of Stamford Bridge with that.

Buy Kanté or Nainggolan, Verratti and Stones. Bring Solanke and Ake back from loan. Those would be my moves from the summer. And get rid of Oscar, Mikel and Remy. On loan: Musonda, Christensen, Kalas, Baker (+ the others who'll never play for CFC anyways) Verratti called Conte the best manager he's ever had. Could it somehow be possible that Conte would be able to convince Verratti to join us? That would be sensational but yeah, I know, it is an unrealistic scenario at least at the moment. I believe buying Stones is only a question of money, £50m should be enough. Mangala didn't cost much less and is an inferior player. Plus the value of a (potentially) world class HG-player cannot be understated. First XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Stones, Baba; Verratti, Fabregas, Matic; Willian, Hazard; Costa Second XI: Begovic; Ivanovic, Miazga, Cahill, Ake; Kanté/Nainggolan, Loftus-Cheek; Pedro, Kenedy; Traore, Solanke Solanke might look like a weak option as the other striker (if Traore isn't considered a striker) but I believe it is worth a try. Surely he's got the talent to make it here and someone like Conte could be the right manager for him to achieve his full potential.
