I feel bad for him. He has never had the opportunity to play in a functioning team, apart from Chelsea of Fall 2014. When teammates are static and just standing there without any effort to make runs, Hazard will also look ordinary. He needs the team to create movement in the final 3rd but the current Belgium team is a perfect example of a team that relies solely on the individual efforts, much like Chelsea in the past 6 years or so. No structure whatsoever and the opponents can easily afford to have 2-3 players marking Hazard at all times. Having donkeys like Lukaku or Origi as strikers surely don't do any favours to Hazard's play either.

Tactical masterclass. But he needs to get players that suit his tactics. That means Bonucci, Nainggolan etc. With Baba-JT-Cahill-Ivanovic this relationship will end in tears.

I wouldn't mind having him back, especially if we fail to bring world beaters à la Griezmann, Dybala or James. I'd rather see Baker here instead but that probably will never happen.... Only thing I'm not sure is that whether Mata fits into Conte's philosophy but something like Matic - Mata - Nainggolan could be great. On the other hand, then we would have two playmakers (Mata and Cesc) who are both useless against top teams.

According to reports, Lewandowski might be going to Real. Or he might be trying to pressure Bayern into giving him a better contract. Who knows... Nevertheless, if Lewa goes to Real, that would surely force Benzema out of the club. Now, I know he isn't the best striker around but he just might be the best we can our hands into this summer. Fantastic link-up play and ball control, good finishing at times. Worth a shot if we can't land Aubamayang, Morata, Griezmann, Dybala and the co. And so so much better option than Lukaku who will never be a world class striker. Or even close to Benzema's quality.
