  1. words about Conte from different players http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3463554/Andrea-Pirlo-Paul-Pogba-Carlos-Tevez-opinions-Antonio-Conte-Marco-Verratti-says-Chelsea-contender-best-boss-had.html So, Verratti thinks he's the manager ever and Pogba says that anyone with the ability can make it under Conte. Maybe one day Conte could persuade Verratti to join us? That would literally be the best thing that could happen in terms of transfers.
  2. He is such a versatile player that I'm sure he will be a very useful player way beyond his "prime" years. In Conte's system he could play a key role and would form an outstanding midfield with Fabregas and Matic. Plus, if we are going to integrate youngsters like Musonda, Loftus-Cheek, Traore and Kenedy, it's not a bad idea to have some experience in the squad as well. And this lad is a fighter, plays with a full heart every game and that's exactly what we need. Talking about his value, are you guys kidding me with £15m? In today's ridiculously insane market, Ramires went for £25m. Vidal's value is probably around £30-40m despite his age.
  3. Wow, what a goal. I think that was the first freekick goal I've seen Hazard score.
  4. Yeah that makes no sense whatsoever. And the only academy product integrated to the first team, Loftus-Cheek, got chances solely because of his physical attributes. Mourinho is like job recruiters in the 21st century. You need to have a Master's Degree and 10 years of work experience at the age of 20.
  5. How the hell did he not play a single game for us....not even in league cup. Mourinho's "10-minute trials" are the biggest joke in world football.
  6. Would be nice to win this one! Let's hope some minutes for RLC and for Traore or Kenedy. Begovic also deserves a start in the near future since he was one of the best players in the league during the first half of the season and has been riding the bench ever since Courtois came back. Courtois/Begovic Azpilicueta Ivanovic Terry Baba RLC - Matic Willian Cesc Pedro Costa
  7. Why everyone keeps putting Baba and Ivanovic in the same side of the defence? My grandma could walk through that one with ease.
  8. Well, I know that it would never happen. Just a radical idea shouted out in the magical world of the internet But, even if Hazard isn't replaced by Traore/Kenedy tonight, he could still ride the bench whilst Oscar-Willian-Pedro are being preferred due to team stability, workrate etc. Though, that is an unlikely scenario as well. But since this topic is about Bertrand Traore, lets not continue PSG-game chat here but rather in the appropriate topic. And lets hope that Traore gets the chances this season because he really deserves them. And so does Kenedy to be fair.
  9. So the six biggest clubs in British football would be managed by two Argentines, Spaniard, Frenchman, Portuguese and a German. And they wonder why English players are disappering and the soul of the league is being sold on a stock market. Like some have asked here already, I would be also interested to know, about Simeone's (and also Allegri's and Conte's) record of youth integration, style of play, amount of rotation etc. Is there someone here who could shed some light on these aspects? Also, how are their personalities in terms of picking up fights with media, fans, other managers and so on. Last thing this club needs is another manager who utilises siege-mentality and mind games to the degree when the whole club becomes a universal laughingstock. And, can any of them even speak English?
  10. Well you can see from my name that I am a big fan of the player But regardless of that, he is bloody useless at the moment. Lets admit it, he is not going to score a goal. What is he going to do? Like someone mentioned before, the acceleration, the drive to challenge opponents...its nowhere to be seen in his play. What does he offer? Sure he has the quality to do something special out of nothing but I truly believe that there are players that would be more useful for the team tomorrow. And I'm not so sure whether he is really fit, doesn't seem like it.
  11. His mind is in Madrid. No point keeping him playing when he is not fit physically or mentally. IMO Traore should start against PSG instead of Hazard because at the moment Eden doesn't offer anything offensively nor defensively. Traore is much more lethal in front of goal and seems to have much more energy and workrate in his game. We cannot afford Hazard missing chances in such a crucial games as the ones against PSG. This kid is going to be very special, I hope Hiddink and his successor realize the potential of him and give him plenty of chances. In fact there is no reason why he shouldn't start the rest of the games this season, especially in the league. Its ridiculous how few chances the youth have been given considering the fact that this season would have been the perfect opportunity for building the new core of the team. I think the managers and the board should come to Amsterdam and buy shrooms to get some long-term vision.
  12. Starting the game too defensive seems like a bad idea. No matter how many defenders we put there, we still lack quality in the defence and PSG will punish us. Instead we should use players full of energy and workrate and press up high so we might actually create some scoring opportunities. I would suggest that Hazard starts from the bench because in my view he doesn't seem to be up to task quite yet, and he doesn't seem to offer much to our play at the moment. I would be more than happy to be wrong about this. If Terry is fit to play, this is the XI I would use: Pedro - Costa - Traore Willian Mikel - Cesc Baba - Terry - Cahill - Azpilicueta Courtois
  13. We are slowly recovering from Jose's tactics. No wonder (some) Real fans call Mourinho's time as their manager the 'Dark Age'. Confident play from the start to the end, none of that bullshit defensive-minded retreat after getting 1-0 lead. And Jose, you'll never have the chance to play the youth if you are only leading the game by one goal. Traore's goal would not have happened under Mourinho. Cesc, Pedro, Willian, Costa and Azpi were all class and solid display by Matic and Baba. Bring on PSG!
  14. We could still easily reach United and go ahead in the league table before the season is finished. Win today and the gap is 8 points with 12 games to go.
  15. It was always going to happen. True legend and the Bridge is the place where he belongs. Let's hope Lamps and Terry are going to be part of the coaching team as well or doing something related to the club. The three giants of the Roman era, and nobody apart from Cech comes even close.
  16. I hope he gets shipped out to Vitesse.
  17. 1) The next manager HAS to bring in youth. Season or two from now, Loftus-Cheek, Baker, Solanke and maybe few others have to be regulars in the team. I don't care if it costs us titles or the CL. A football club has bring up youth, otherwise the whole existence of the team just feels, dare I say it, a bit plasticky. And it's not like the club doesn't have immense potential in the youth and on loan. All we need is a manager who has the balls to utilise them. Mourinho wasn't man enough to do that. 2) The manager who comes in (not the temporary one) should have trust of the board and the time to implement the tactics. At least two season IMO. If the new manager(s) are under constant pressure to win every single game, we'll play medieval hoofball for the next decade in search of those 1-0 wins. ---- All the club needs to now is someone who can make a positive impact on the team so that Chelsea doesn't end up in Championship. CL is gone already, so the plan should be getting ready for next season. Bringing up some youth or loan players in the process might not be a bad idea, and maybe they could add something to the team. Why didn't Kenedy play more? He clearly had the will to play 100%, every game, everyday. I'd make him a regular in the team, who knows how that might end up. Mourinho wasn't interested in these kind of experiments. He promised RLC run of games but gave him 45 minutes and then the lad disappeared. Who knows what might have happened if Kenedy and RLC played most of the games, I have hard time believing that the results would be any worse than what they are now.
  18. I'm afraid Mou has been playing this song to Roman all night.
  19. Yeah man...How many millions is Mourinho getting paid for ruining Ruben's career I wonder. At this point this seems like it has to be intentional.
  20. Matic - Matuidi - RLC would be Mourinho-like midfield. What a beast of a midfield that would be physically. Creatively and flair-wise not so much.
  21. He improved massively immediately after the purchase of Cuadrado and went to another level once we had bought Pedro. At this rate, Chelsea just needs to buy a RW every transfer window and he'll win the Ballon d'Or in 2017
  22. There's so many Bayern players I would love at CFC and this guy is on top of that list! But it ain't gonna happen.
  23. Yes, we aren't Ajax. But at least Ajax gives their talents a chance. We probably end up selling Oscar and buy another mediocre player as a replacement. Buy world class or promote the youth, thats what I'm saying. Without CL football next season, only a few top class players are willing to join, especially considering Jose's tactics.
  24. How good is he in terms of workrate? I'd say we should sell/loan Oscar and bring this kid to the squad. Certainly he cannot be any worse? He is very talented on the ball and the fact that he is superb with both feet shouldn't be forgotten as it is extremely rare. Maybe bring Solanke back as well to replace Falcao and we are good to go?
